Kanye West made Coachella history this weekend, when he brought his famous Sunday Service spectacle to the Southern Californian desert festival for a massive Easter morning celebration. Although the “Jesus Walks” rapper has been staging Sunday Services since January, they have so far taken place in a secret Los Angeles location and have been invite-only, so this performance was the first time that the general public could attend. (Everyone with a Coachella wristband was welcome.) The full show was also live-streamed on YouTube through a fisheye-style peephole lens, for an especially intimate effect.

Whether one likes Kanye and his music or not he does things that conservatives want people to do. He is married to the mother of his children. He works for his money. He is innovative and creative in his work life. He isn’t doing drugs. He is trying to reach his community to better it

Kanye West has the gall to think for himself and they’ll never forgive him for it.

Totally agree. I still maintain he could be incredibly important in Trump’s 2020 run, and no, I don’t think it outside the realm of possibility that he himself runs in 2024.

Yeah, I agree. I don’t like the music, but he seems to be a decent guy...and of course, being punished for it by the (white) left.

Kim and Kanye just named their newborn child ‘Psalm’ - Psalm West.

...And I’ve always enjoyed Kanye’s foray into Gospel territory as in his song “Jesus Walks.”

Otherwise I don’t know what to make of his ‘Sunday Service’ thing...Is it truly Christian? A harmless creative outlet with some spiritual flare? Who knows...

All the best to the couple.

All the best to the couple.

There's hardly a more obvious symptom of how low the entertainment industry and our popular culture have sunk than the fact that these two are held up as some sort of cultural icons and role models. Why the hell would you or anyone else playing with a full deck want to "wish them well"?

God meets people where they are at...and our culture where it is at. So any step towards Him however small, is a good thing in my book.
