Oceans are hotter than they've ever been in recorded history. Ice Sheets are melting at unprecedented rates. Sea-level rise threatens countless species, coastal cities, and local economies.
As researchers' warnings about the consequences of climate change get more dire, some scientists and politicians are suggesting we do more than just curb our greenhouse-gas emissions — they want to hack our climate.
The technical term for this is geoengineering.

So, why are these ‘reporters’ so twisted off as they are?

This is a NOAA webpage which has looked at increments of 50 year sea level trends at many sites across the US. (and worldwide sites if you click around a little)

Click on the tab that says, “Variation of 50-Year Relative Sea Level Trends” you can look at different gauges around the country for different 50 year averages.
If you look at the trends in the New England locations it has actually varied below average and drifted back to baseline. It’s all BS!

On the “weather channel” on antennae TV they still show the mud covered polar bears with the report that the climate in the arctic circle is killing the bears. It’s winter up there, dark and frozen. Stock footage of bears in summer playing in the surf. Hooey, hooey I tell you!!

There’s a TV commercial lately (some oil company) gleefully showing how “concerned” they are about the environment that they’re investing in “technologies that can mimic trees” (paraphrase) and grab CO2 right out of the atmosphere - they even show a tree.
I laughed...so yeah, plant more damn trees!!! It’s the main flaw in their “science” - the earth will trap more CO2 in more vegetation. Somehow, I think the earth has been balancing this for millions of years!
The 'warnings' have been dire for a long time... maybe a little 'proof' would go a long way...like have any of the islands in the maldives gone under yet?
Wow! That is a lot of words to describe “overeducated bullshi++3r”!
But, the problem with planting trees is it doesn’t give big bucks to corrupt ‘scientists’ in liberal universities. Or big payoffs from the green industries to lobby groups to bribe our 'public servants'.. So it's a no go...
