It could soon be a very empty house for Lori Loughlin and her designer husband as a third family member is now the focus of a Department of Justice probe for her involvement in the college admission scandal that ensnared the actress.
Multiple sources tell DailyMail.com that one of the actress daughters received a target letter from federal prosecutors in Massachusetts earlier this month regarding the Operation Varsity Blues investigation.
That letter informed the embattled University of Southern California student that she was the subject of an investigation which could result in criminal charges.
No students have been charged or arrested at this point in the investigation, but court documents make it clear that some of the youngsters were aware of the illegal actions being carried out in their behalf.

So the schools are gonna skate free?
And Comey. Brennan, Clinton, Clapper, Strzok, Page, and other traitors aren’t even indicted!
This is horse sh*t!
Not that I have any sympathy for anyone in this family, but it does seem surprising that the Feds are hitting them so hard.
How does Loughlins Lawyer lose in this?
Drag it out, and he makes more money.
Lawyers represent themselves.
The Hallmark actress factory has been working 24X7 to stamp out another.
She is older so the factory needs a LOT of adjustments to get the “whiter than white good looking not quite hot” generic Hallmark actress (hot is reserved for the bitchinski fiancee of the love interest).
Let’s all ponder how many politicians’ children go to elite schools ... only their bribe was cloaked in voting for “funding” and “investment in education” through a bill paid for by you and I.
“It could soon be a very empty house...”
Love the Brit’s sense of humour.
Man, I wish they would go after the criminal Hillary Clinton like they do with Lori and Martha. Our government is corrupt beyond repair
It’s gonna be a FULL HOUSE at the BIG HOUSE with the Lori Laughlin lookalike daughter joining mommy and daddy.
From Full House to the Big House.....................
>>Lawyers represent themselves.<<
I was watching a L&O episode circa 2000. There was a mention about lawyers billing $400/hr.
Now - what $1k?
Win OR lose.
Shakespeare was right.
This sis no more than leverage for a plea deal. The government does this to get the parents to plea guilty. I think this is criminal in itself. That kid had no idea how colleges work. She was going by the college and all the advisors like counselors, teachers and her own parents.
We are still hearing that IRS is looking into the parents for tax evasion.
Say the parents gave the shyster running these scams, $200,000. The $200k check supposedly went to a fake non profit as a “donation”. Then, the rich elitist parents took an IRS write off.
I agree its leverage. Disagree the students couldnt have known it was cheating. Kids know that having someone else take an SAT for you, or having you listed as playing a sport you dont do is cheating.
Presumably she was 18 year old legal adult. And by the time you’re 18 you oughta know what fraud is. And pretending you’re first class rower when you’ve never done is fraud.
I’ve no sympathy for the mother or the daughter. That said I’d like to see some of the serious liberal criminals getting some justice.
My personal opinion is that most of this is a matter of the feds wanting to show they’re tough on rich liberals too. Just a bone thrown to the middle class who watches the elite get away with everything.
The political elite does not have to pay but relies on influence.
Nancys daughter, Alexandra Pelosi, graduated from USCs prestigious Annenberg School for Communication in 1993.
Howd she get in?
Did Annenberg suddenly get a bundle of federal funds from Congress?
Maybe Mom phoned in and said she wanted to personally tell them they were getting the bucks?
