I saw a lot of people pose in risky positions when I was at the Grand Canyon. All I could think about was some sudden and expected wind knocking them over.

This is just sad - and, are people now so unaware that all beautiful attractions will have to be fenced off? I was at Machu Picchu and saw a young lady prancing around with her back to the incredibly steep mountain, only a couple feet from the edge, all for the benefit of a selfie.

How sad. Getting killed to get a photo is such a waste of a life. (Although I realize war correspondents do this they know the risks - this was just carelessness)

The mind is a strange and wonderful thing.
You walk down the sidewalk all the time and think nothing of it.
But what if there were a 1,000 foot drop on each side. Would you still walk on that very same width sidewalk?
HE!! NO!
