Roy Moore, the Republican iconoclast accused of sexual misconduct, is leading among Republican voters in a new poll on the upcoming Alabama Senate race. Moore narrowly lost a special election to fill former Attorney General Jeff Sessions' seat amid allegations from several women that he had touched or kissed them inappropriately when they were teenagers, and he was an adult.
A poll by Mason-Dixon Polling and Strategy published Tuesday found that 27 percent of Republicans polled would support Roy Moore's candidacy in the 2020 election. Reps. Mo Brooks, Bradley Byrne and Gary Palmer trail behind Moore with support in the teens, while Del Marsh and Tim James were under ten percent. Moore's support was highest among women, 31 percent of whom said they would support Moore.

Alabama wouldn’t reelect him would they?
Roy Moore leads in Alabama Senate poll
Claire McCaskill is visiting Alabama and quietly helping Judge Moore a little on the side.
The new story is that he dated a 10 year old, but no one knew, because they were both in blackface. /s
No offense intended but some of these political characters had their shot and should just let it rest.
Congratulations on your reelection, Doug Jones.

Not going to happen. Roy Moore will NOT be the Republican nominee. The best he can hope for is to advance to a primary run off; probably with Mo Brooks. Brooks would win the runoff and advance to defeat Doug Jones in the general election.

The stink is on him.
Hat tip to judge Moores wife on this helpful campaign statement.
I don’t understand. Why would McCaskill help Moore?
Right now I am supporting Mo Brooks. I don’t see Moore getting the nomination. Even if he did, the dynamics have changed. Jones voted against Kavanaugh. The really radical left has come out of the closet. Folks know Trump Trump needs help to beat the Swamp on key issues. People know about the Soros support that paid for the campaign to discredit Moore. The allegations have never been shown to be true. I don’t think those Republicans will stay home in this general election because the radical looney left has exposed itself and the stakes are a lot more visible. I would much prefer that Moore not be the nominee, but Jones will not be elected again in Alabama.
Mitch McConnell spent $30 million to smear and defeat Judge Roy, and he went to court against his accuser, a put up job just like they did to Herman Cain and Judge Kav.
When will you dumb GOP jackasses learn this is how the game is played against Conservatives who they can’t buy off.
McTurdle McConnell doesn’t want anti Turdle guys, he wants to Rino his way until retirement.
Well, I’m brand new to Alabama and don’t know which way to turn. If Alabamians want to help me on my private message here, I’d be most appreciative. I have no interest in reading comments from New Jerseyians. I want to vote the correct conservative way!
Democrats will probably try to help Roy Moore win the GOP primary here, because he's about the only prayer Doug Jones has of winning in 2020.
Yes I think he did too...and I didn’t think he was the best they had to offer either.
Go Roy.........would love it if he is elected. Seems to me (f I am remembering correctly) the story fell about right after he lost last time
Roy Moore was the victim of the Deep State smear machine. Many conservatives still believe nonsense about him because the machine is so effective. Trump has been able to oppose it and has exposed many of its techniques. Some conservatives still believe the nonsense about Sen. McCarthy. The believe he headed the Houser UnAmerican Activities Committee. It was reported in the news that John Tower danced naked on a grand piano with a Russian ballerina.
The "nonsense" of being a Republican that lost a statewide race in Alabama in 2017?
Do you really want Doug Jones until 2026? CNBC ranked Doug Jones as the most likely Senate incumbent to lose his or her seat in 2020, that changes if the Stupid Party blesses him by nominating Roy Moore again.
I was thinking back to 2012 when she helped to get the opponent she wanted in Todd Akins and we all know how that worked out.
