It was fairly clear that, as a young man looking for a wife, he DID date (“court” would be a better word) some girls on the oldest end of their teenage years. And, according to those young ladies (and their mothers) he was a perfect gentleman on these dates. And just about everyone believed he went on these gentlemanly “dates” AND THEY DIDN’T CARE.
Then, right before the election, Moore inexplicably announced to the Alabama electorate “If you think I dated teenage girl, DON’T VOTE FOR ME”. IMHO, he lost the election right then. He was, AND IS, an absolutely clueless campaigner.
And here you are again repeating that same old crap. Roy Moore won over a million votes in 2012, so he is *NOT* "an awful candidate to begin with."

As a matter of fact, I believe it was the success in doing it to Moore that convinced them it would work with Kavanaugh, but the difference was, the entire Republican establishment *DID NOT STAB KAVANAUGH IN THE BACK* the way they did Roy Moore.
The dope spent his entire campaign working to generate support among the 25% of the people who were going to vote for him anyway. If Alabama wasn’t such a heavily Republican state he would have lost by 50 points.

It was idiotic for Hannity to accept the premise put forth by that bitch Liar Stephanie McCrummen who is nothing but a whore smear machine from the Washington Post. (Stephanie McCrummen is the Washington Post reporter bitch who dragged up all these kook women to make these phony accusations.)
Hannity put Moore in a terrible position by equating his dating of teenagers to rape and molestation. Trump couldn't even have survived that set of questions the way it was presented.

God! I've heard this silly claim so many times I'm sick of it! Do you think one more F***ing day of campaigning would have overcome the F***ing smear machine launched against him? Do you really think there were even 3 people left in Alabama who had not yet made up their mind by this point?
Do you know what would have caused him to win? What would have caused him to win is stopping that F***ing BACKSTABBING BASTARD Richard Shelby from getting on national television and urging Alabamians to vote against Roy Moore. Also the treatment of Moore by the National Republican party was disgraceful. They simply accepted the lying accusations without any proof, pulled all his national funding, and made certain everyone in the nation knew they were pulling his funding so as to help it appear that he was guilty of the accusations.
They later restored his funding, but the damage to his campaign was already too great by that point. He still very nearly won.
Not backstabbing him would have resulted in a win.
When you are as far ahead of your opponent as Roy Moore was against Dough Jones for most of the year, there is no benefit to debating him.
After the lying skank bitches smear machine had done their damage, there was no benefit to Jones in debating Moore.
