5 seasons was fine. They had the completed arc.
“Crusade” was horrible.

Hottest character on ST, except
for Seven of Nine, Terry Farrell,
also known as Jadzia.

Was Wonderfall where the girl had spirits talk to her via various figurines?

“Easy one Firefly! Let the games begin!”
Best show ever canceled.
The suits at the studio couldn’t keep their hands off the product and meddled constantly.
The genius suits killed Firefly.
They even broadcast the episodes out of order, making plot continuation impossible.
An example is the episode “Out of Gas” where the ship is damaged and Mal sends the crew off in the shuttles.
A passing ship hears the distress beacon and comes to Mal’s aid, only to shoot him in an attempt to take the ship.
After getting the part he needed to fix his ship Mal goes through a series of flashbacks showing how the crew of Serenity was gathered.
Out of Gas was meant to be the second episode to air but the studio didn’t show it until the eigth episode.
It was perfect as the second episode and would have given the show a better chance. That continuity thing and helping us understand how such different personalities came to be aboard.

Wesley Crusher was arrogant...now if you are a teen, you aren’t going to be on the deck. He sounded like a teen that graduated at 7 and never been around his peers...

There are rumors “Sliders” is getting a reboot.
MANTIS should get points for a black disabled superhero.

Tophat, My Mother The Car? LOL...Funny.
Jerry Van Dyke had a chance to be the Skipper on Gillian's Island, but he thought My Mother The Car would be better in the Ratings...

“Falling Skies” was falling apart in the last season. Add a second alien species in the interstellar war, more vague mythology, and less hope for humanity because they can now control adults.

Lost is an excellent example of the problem, but even shows like the Sopranos get stale in spite of introducing new characters and multi-episode story arcs. Almost every show eventually exhausts its narrative premises, assuming that it lasts long enough. For TV these days, five seasons pretty much does it, and although some manage to last longer, their best episodes are usually behind them.

"Farscape." Farscape lasted 4 seasons, but could have gone a couple more, IMHO...
