Sarah Connor Chronicles. Lena Headey went on to bigger and more naked things I guess. A good reboot on one of the premium channels might be interesting.

The first Battlestar Galactica. Someone thought the Budget was too high, so they ended it in favor of Buck Rogers. That’s another one, however. It didn’t end, they just changed the format into something not as good.

How about “Space: Above and Beyond”?

Strengths:
Unique concept
Earth relatively new to interstellar travel & colonization.
Encounter threat later. Earth nations retaining sovereignty. But in a confederation. Show built around USMC Space Recon unit stationed on a US Navy stellar fighter carrier. Writing initially good! Stories interesting watchable!
Weakness
Writing utterly collapsed toward the later part of the series. Very PC (But isn’t everything?)

Almost Human was fun and lasted only a season. Karl Urban as a cop with a synthetic partner—and he’s not too thrilled with synthetics. They were setting up John Larroquette to be the villain, but it ended before that could take off.

"Babylon 5 ran the course of the story."

Actually it didn't. This is the series cancellation that really ticks me off. I was all set to watch the next episode, and then some other show comes on instead. I started looking at the TV guides for when and where the blasted thing had been moved to. It took me probably two days to find out that the series was cancelled. Mid-story. Later I think they put together a quick ending just to appease the fans.

The Starlost 1973. The series takes place on a generational space ark. Interesting concept.
