Actress Lori Loughlin and her fashion designer husband, Mossimo Giannulli, were indicted on fraud and money laundering charges Tuesday in the multimillion-dollar college admissions cheating scam that has ensnared dozens of wealthy parents trying to get their kids into the nation's most prestigious colleges.
The "Fuller House" star and her husband, along with 14 other parents, were charged in Boston in a "second superseding indictment with conspiring to commit fraud and money laundering," the Department of Justice said in a statement to Fox News.
Loughlin and Giannulli were charged last month with conspiracy to commit mail fraud. The new indictment adds a money laundering charge for all 16 defendants.

If she hasn't bought, read, and re-read Orange is the New Black, she better do it now.
What did she do? Say something nice about Trump?
She chose poorly . . .
Is this how Sessions was occupying his time?
Jail cant happen - it will separate children from their parents.
No worry. She can star in a lifetime movie about her experience!
“What did she do? Say something nice about Trump?”
Or maybe something bad about Hillary! (Except she’s alive, so probably not;)
I rather see these cheaters given a sentence of paying a full ride for 50 students.
Lots of Hollywood types get their kids into Brown.
OTOH, there's the Tom Hanks CC route, or even Bastyr U., probably better suited to the then-career of Olivia Jade.
It would have generated a lot less post-purchase dissonance and cheaper in the short term, legal fee-wise.
Not for nothing but Lori Loughlin has the most bizarre fixed smile. When she was filmed walking into court, it was as if a Barbie doll had come alive and was programmed to smile.
Sessions must have been doing something else because this resulted from an accidental find. The FBI was investigating something else when they came across this little conspiracy so the story goes. Just like Mr. Magoo to find something he wasn’t looking for.
But if you violate the espionage act, you face nothing.
Which campaign(s) did they support in 2016?
Uh oh, looks like they’re going from 30 days in jail to 60. That’ll teach them there is no two tiered justice system.
Her husband is a trump supporter
I seriously doubt they have the kind of cash necessary to mount a proper defense against the feds, people like Trump do, but not them. They should have taken the deal
But some here said whatever they do with their money is their business.
Could they have been wrong?
