Don't they know she's on a special mission and she has only twelve years to save the planet? And they're worried about an animal shelter?

She is trying to save the earth through the magic of socialism. In her mind she is already Chief Commissar of the Socialist Republic of America. She has no time for the little people of Bronx who were foolish enough to trust her.

Politics aside, isn’t stuff like this more the domain of local politicos and not members of congress?

Typical of self centered constituents who think their petty concerns deserve the attention of the most important person in Washington. Grow up people. Fix your own animal shelter. She must spend all of her limited resources on paying her staff a living wage and promoting the Green New Deal. An office in the Bronx is out of the question and will not serve the interests of her real constituents, wackos of the world.

Don’t give an airborne rodent’s rump where her heart is, just want her cortex off the game board.
Seductive and destructive at the same time.
Vote her out or find an ethics violation as soon as is appropriate.

I post this from time to time. It is a link to the AOC articles posted here at FR.
There's a lot of info about Cortez on those threads.
She doesn't have the FReepers fooled one bit. This will come back to haunt her too.

Delgado has reportedly been trying for months to get in touch with Ocasio-Cortez about saving an animal shelter and cleaning up parks in the district. According to the Post, Delgado has made numerous calls to Ocasio-Cortezs offices in Washington and Queens and sent a barrage of tweets after the freshman lawmaker encouraged residents during a recent visit to a Bronx public library to hit her up on social media.
But Delgado has not heard anything from Ocasio-Cortezs office. That's funny - when that guy from Queer Eye called about remodeling her office, she got back to him on the same day.
Maybe AOC is confused about her job description?

She has to address these local issues. Local issues should be addressed by local authorities, or by the civil society. Running off to your congressthing over every local problem is grossly misguided.

If you look at most congresscritters now, few of them are there for their constituents. Most are there to either line their own pockets or to perpetuate their party’s interests.
