Yeah, and Abe Lincoln was gay which is why Mary Todd Lincoln went bonkers, yada yada yada. The Left’s revisionism is just designed to tear down America any way it can.

I’m sorry, if the good General considered himself a man, that trumps science, does it not?

But he identified as a he.

So that is the end of it.

Even if true, so what? Joan of Arc was a pretty effective general.

The article was full of weasel words. Interesting that there is still some question as to whether this is even Pulaski’s actual remains.

In any event, can you imagine the contemporary medical workers and the undertaker’s surprise? “Wow, Emory, look at this! What the heck?” No way that such a discovery would remain confidential.

There’s another book out that slips in a claim that Baron von Steuben was a tranny.

I don’t know how anyone can be sure since the costume of the time period for men was quite gay-looking with the silk stockings and wigs and flowing sleeves and such.

It is questionable that these are even Pulaski's remains. For 75 years, the remains were missing and it was thought he was buried at sea. They found remains in Georgia marked as his, and they were "the right size" so it is assumed they are his. But, I'm sure they will run with this "he was a she" version.

From his/her grave marker:

Doubt and uncertainty exists as to where Pulaski died and as to his burial-place. A contemporary Charleston, S.C. newspaper item and other sources indicate that he died aboard a ship bound for that port. It was generally believed that he was buried at sea. A tradition persisted, however, that General Pulaski died at Greenwich plantation near Savannah and that he was buried there. When the monument here was under erection the grave at Greenwich was opened. The remains found there conformed, in the opinion of physicians, to a man of Pulaski’s age and stature and were re-interred beneath this memorial in a metallic case in 1854.

Sigh. They are not saying that Pulaski was “transgender” but rather he was a victim of genetic circumstances. Whether or not we are XX or XY, we all start out with a female body plan. At a certain stage of development XYs receive a burst of testosterone which leads to the development of the male body, including genitalia.
If as described in the article, an XX receives the testosterone burst the body will develop largely as male as well. Genetically they are still XX but outwardly they appear to be male. That is what they are speculating about General Pulaski.

Researchers from Georgia Southern University say they made the discovery about General Casimir Pulaski after years of research examining the general’s remains.

Something doesn’t seem quite right here. Researchers messing around with the general’s remains for years?

Well, if he never married or had kids this could be a reason...he lived long enough to do both.

I live in Rome, NY. There's a monument to General Pulaski in Utica, NY. We also have the historic site of General Baron von Steuben in Remsen, NY...north of Utica, and then there's General Nicholas Herkimer's home in Little Falls, NY...east of Utica. The recreated Fort Stanwix, built on the site of the original fort sits here in Rome, and the Oriskany Battlefield is about a 15-20 minute drive away.

When I was doing family research at the National Archives, I discovered that one of my collateral ancestors from the Dutchess County area, claimed to have been stationed at Fort Stanwix, during the time it was being re-fortified for use in the Revolutionary War. The info was found in a pension request, that had been filed by his children after his death. Who knows if it was true or not. They didn't get his pension anyway. The fort had originally been built by the British during the French and Indian War.
