Do you want to see Avengers: Endgame on opening night? Do you really, really want to see Avengers: Endgame on opening night? Like, enough to give up the same amount of money you might spend on Super Bowl tickets, or a glorious international vacation, or several months rent, or a used car, or a kid's college fund, or your own damn retirement? If so, then make your way to eBay and throw your money at someone who lucked out and got their tickets right away on Tuesday. Who needs to retire anyway? As you likely heard, Avengers: Endgame tickets went on sale Tuesday and sold faster than it takes Iron Man to deliver a smart-aleck quip, which is to say, instantly. Not everyone could get the tickets they wanted though, in part thanks to AMC Theaters' site and mobile app choosing the exact wrong day to succumb to Thanos' snap. But plenty of people did get tickets, and an enterprising batch of them are selling their opening-night tickets on eBay, as often happens with hot tickets these days. Want to see it in New Jersey at the AMC Dine-In Essex Green 9? You and a pal can sit in the middle row on opening night and get a free poster to boot. It'll just cost you $15,000 to Buy It Now, or try your luck with an opening bid of $2,500. But maybe you want to see it in New York City, at the AMC 84th Street 6. Bidding begins at $4,999, please. But hey, the seller will ship them to you for an additional $4.81.

People are asking 5K. That doesn’t mean anyone is paying it.
Last time I was wound up for a movie was 1977. Skipped my last day of High School to stand in line on the opening night of Star Wars. It was actually fun, sort of a party atmosphere. The couple behind me in line worked for the National Enquirer, and were a hoot. The lady had a cowbell in her purse and started ringing it when the doors opened. All the folks in line started mooing and pressing forward. The ushers actually ran.
Comic books fill the same role as myths and hero takes did for our ancestors. They had Beowulf and Thor, we have Spiderman and...Thor.
I could see the studio PR Sept putting tickets on sale for $5k, then buying them themselves.
I plan to see it. I can wait. Spoilers do not spoil it for me. I have enjoyed much of the MCU heretofore. I plan for Endgame to be my endgame. Disney/Marvel can go Solo without me thereafter.
Just looked up a few of her more recent photos. Okay then.
Entirely correct: C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien would both have agreed with that premise (whether or not they personally enjoyed the comic book medium, or considered it well done).
Similarly, film scores are today’s classical music for the normals. Schoenberg et al deliberately destroyed tonality in officially serious music, making it unenjoyable and even unlistenable.
Having seen several of her films in various genres, I tend to agree.
That much for a product that will not do a damned thing to improve the human condition. Talk about much a-”dough” about nothing.
What is this, Hamilton?
I’ll watch it on TV next year....
I was caught up in that as well, but the beginning of the movie made me hate Star Wars for the rest of my life..................A long time ago, In a galaxy far, far, away.............IT’S A DAMNED FAIRY TALE!...........
Now, if it had said, “In the far, far future.........
