worth more than $2.5 million,
Not even a rounding error in the DOD budget.

Seems kind of weird to have a scope on a firearm like that. I would think by definition this thing is a “spray-and-pray” weapon.

Those are extended trial quantities in my mind. We will see if the Army is serious about this weapon if they start buying thousands at a time.

I don’t really understand the uses of sub-machine guns but was struck by the fact that the Great Finnish sniper’s favorite weapon was a Swedish sub-machine gun.
Of course he used a rifle for long range sniping.

This is the only movie by Carey that I’d ever watch. All the others were dumb, sick, stupid.

Concur. 350 copies is a pretty small number.
Maybe it will become assigned weapon for drivers and tankers too like the old M3 Grease Gun?
350 will cover a few generals’ PSDs though, which seemed to be the motivating factor...
Downrange in ‘06, the German PSDs carried an FN 5.7 PDW. Can’t remember the nomenclature now, but it was a pretty impressive little package.

I’m sure it works fine in spray-and-pray mode. But it might be capable of finer work as well.

We will see if the Army is serious about this weapon if they start buying thousands at a time. Not likely to happen. This is not a combat weapon, it's meant for personal security details.
To: KitJ
This device is probably already on the streets of Los Angeles.

Looks like a Mac 11. Or a crude Uzi.
What’s wrong with using the H&K MP5?

$7,142.00 each seems a bit pricey.

Other than not having rails for modern sights, heavy, having proprietary magazines instead of cross compatible, and crappy triggers....nothing.
