DA dismisses remaining 24 Twin Peaks biker cases (Waco)

Almost four years after nine bikers were killed and 20 were injured during a shootout at the former Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco, McLennan County District Attorney Barry Johnson said Tuesday he will dismiss all criminal cases against the remaining 24 defendants charged in the midday brawl.

Johnson inherited the Twin Peaks cases when he took office in January, and said he has spent 75 percent of his time since then with a team of prosecutors and investigators trying to determine how to resolve the remaining cases.

Johnson's decision Tuesday means that no one will be held accountable for the multiple deaths or injuries or for the chaotic battle between heavily armed, rival motorcycle clubs waged in a crowded shopping center parking lot while families were on their way to lunch after Sunday church.

In announcing his decision, Johnson said it is time to "end this nightmare that we have been dealing with in this county since May 17, 2015."

"There were nine people who were killed on that fateful day in Waco, Texas, and 20 injured, all of whom were members of rival motorcycle clubs/gangs, and the loss of life is a difficult thing," Johnson said. "But after looking over the 24 cases we were left with, it is my opinion as your district attorney that we are not able to prosecute any of those cases and reach our burden of proof beyond a reasonable doubt."

About 200 bikers were arrested after the shootout on identical charges of engaging in organized criminal activity and held on $1 million bonds each. Former McLennan County District Attorney Abel Reyna sought indictments against 155 bikers on those identical charges and chose to try Jacob Carrizal, the Bandidos Dallas county chapter president, first.

I see the news came out Today.

If it was reported yesterday, everyone would just think it was a big joke.

No joke. Just the beginning of the end of a very tragic ---(I'm at a loss for words).

The clubs were not at the restaurant to ‘get’ anyone. They were meeting up to make sure that no violence would occur between the groups.

Seems the police snipers were disappointed when no one was giving them a pretext to open fire so they took it upon themselves to start the shooting.

See, the big problem these (low IQ) geniuses with badges did not consider is that the bikers were armed with pistols while the kill shots were made with rifles.

None of the evidence then pointed at any of the accused.

Now they want the case to go away because the evidence points at the only people who had rifles that day: the police.

MANY armed is NOT heavily armed.

The police were heavily armed.

This case is dropped to protect the cops .... like what happened to Randy Weavers' wife and son.

Ron Huriachi walks free and still operates within the SWAT circle.

“Almost four years after nine bikers were killed and 20 were injured during a shootout at the former Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco”

Wait a minute! In addition to vacating these bikers trials, don't you think it's way, way past time for the public to have a complete accounting of exactly who killed whom that day? I am quite certain that all the ballistics tests have been long completed and authorities know exactly who was responsible for the deaths and woundings, so let's see the evidence and perhaps have a grand jury somewhere other than in Whacko, decide if there are some LEOs who need to be called to account for their actions in the use of their firearms.

That'll come out in the wrong-full death lawsuits .

Now, how about re-opening, maybe at federal level, the murders and corruption of police, prosecutors, and judges?

Seems more like the kind of premeditated murder that could be arranged by a payment of sufficient size by one of the rivals to the “law enforcement” decision-maker. What better way to take out a gang rival than have the cops do it?

We know the cops killed some of them, but they must not be held accountable because shut up.

Friends, Romans, freepers, give me your display screens.

I have come here to bury the IBTG ping post, not to praise it. The mocking that the IBTG ping did is remembered after its death, but the good will be buried with it.

It might as well be the same with the Waco posts of TG. The noble freepers told you that TG was full of baloney.

If that’s true, it’s a serious fault, and TG has paid seriously for it.

With the permission of Elderberry and the others—for Elderberry is an honorable freeper; the freepers are all honorable men and women — I have come here to speak at the funeral of the IBTG ping.

Well, it appears that the evidence showing ATF, FBI and local LEOs complicity in these deaths will now never see the light of day. Those government agents’ lives go on swimmingly. Meanwhile, the lives of the Texan citizens falsely accused have, in large measure, destroyed.

I have been suspicious from the beginning about how high up the orders were. The 2 million biker ride on September 11, 2013 was a direct threat to the sharia White House. Less than two years later on May 17, 2015, a message was sent to the biker community about how far the moslem and chief would go.

The lawsuits are absolutely essential to uncover the truth.
