I took my daughter to her OBGYN. On the ‘sex’ box, they have 3 choices. M, F, and T. I was shocked but not surprised. I got to thinking, “I oughta make an appt, tell them I think I’m female, and I have these bad cramps for 4 days once a month.” Now, what would they do? They have the trans box to check. They would have to see and cater to me, wouldn’t they? And when they did, it would be like others have inferred here. 1. A mental disorder 2. Malpractice.
What are we getting ourselves into. Lord help us.
There should be a high age limit before any irreversible surgery is carried out. Kids are not old enough to decide such extreme measures and may regret it later.
I might substitute “life” for “license”.

Why was she powerless? My mother, by simple dint of her personality, was able to control me and my siblings as a child. She put up with nothing! We didn’t make a move unless she consented. I simply don’t understand parents anymore.

My good friend is getting a divorce from her psychiatrist husband, a nasty guy who does travel a lot with a male friend. Friend actually asked hubby if he’s bisexual.
I had the same thought.
Government controls medical decisions. No surprise there. Statists have wanted that for years. They have it now.
Plus, the statists have salivated at the thought of eliminating the parent/child bond, and now can enjoy the thought, because they have what they wanted.
But of course the parents get the bill. What? you thought the state picked up the cost of what it forces you to do? What a joke.
We are no longer a free country.

I have never watched that Jazz thing. I remember seeing a commercial for it before the show started and I can’t get off that channel fast enough if it comes on. It has had problems and they don’t try to hide them? That’s unusual, isn’t it?

No you wont. Not that you shouldn't. You should be backed by an army of friends and neighbors taking out the doctor, his staff, his office space, his equipment, his home, his car, the hospital administrators, the chief of surgery, the intake staff, the insurance regulator, and so on.
But the reality is you won't. Your 18+ year old son or daughter can do this and you cannot do squat except complain and perhaps get arrested for complaining because the doctor and hospital and staff and administration and media and your friends and neighbors will take your complaints as threats.
And it is a damned shame.
But I for one would applaud you if you did. For what little that is worth. Which is pretty much nothing.

The 1971 1972 decision to remove the declaration of abnormality of homosexuality in the DSM IV. An advocacy lobby to normalize homosexuality within the American Psychiatric Associate pushed and lobbied and the APA went along.
