Yes new blood I love it
It’s either 2020 or 2021 that the change is coming...
The NFL has a rule that a person must be out of high school for 3 years before joining the NFL...Basketball should follow that...
I think it was Underwater Fire Prevention...
You can always set minimums for your job. NFL won’t take anybody until they’re 3 years out of high school. The interesting part about one and done is it had the opposite effect intended. Very few players did less than 3 years in college before being drafted before the rule. Yeah Kobe and LeBron came straight out of high school, but it wasn’t trending in that direction. Then they put in the 1 year must rule and that became the focus of the draft, they went from waiting for uperclassmen to obsessing on freshmen. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens when they end the rule.
ROFL!!
It’s funny...All students in that class are Duke basketball players...Most passed with a “C” average....
I think this has faced legal challenges in the past, and it was always upheld because the age restrictions are written into collective bargaining agreements.
Zion’s name isn’t on the current performance contract with Nike.
(wink, wink)
It amazes me that people who buy sneakers are swayed by advertising where a rich kid who just admitted he’d “endorse” whatever sneaker was made by the highest bidder.
I sometimes listen to people I trust when they tell me they use a product, and that is WHY they are saying it is great.
But an athlete who doesn’t buy his own shoes, who sells his name to whatever company pays him the most? If I wanted to wear the shoe of the company most desperate, I guess I’d listen to these endorsements.
I hope one-and-done soon becomes a thing of the best.
Let the talented players go straight to the NBA, and let College Basketball get back to being about good fundamental team basketball.
s/b I hope one-and-done soon becomes a thing of the past.
Auburn is a fun team to watch.
All I got to say is Wreck ‘Em, Tech! He didn’t want a rematch of our game in December for the Finals.
Guns Up!
One of the few times in recent years were it is fun to be a Red Raider fan. Maybe except for baseball and the Mike Leach days.
Yep, since I am a Tech Dad, I can climb on the bandwagon.
I have a feeling that Chris Beard won’t be coaching in Lubbock too much longer. Someone like Duke will make him an offer that he can’t refuse.
About to be paid?? Like he was at pUKe for free.
I hear conflicting things, I’ve heard he really likes it at Tech, speculation is the one school he might leave for is Texas, when Shaka Smart inevitably gets fired.
Agree....he’s not going to be allowed to plow over players like he did at pUKe.
