The men are all musicians. The other gal is a friend who I was also surprised to see .. it has been 2 years. she lives in Buffalo and came for this excellent group. She is 77 and still very active. She like me is NOT a musician but a early jazz enthusiast.

Have been doing a lot of NEW and experimental cooking thses past weeks.. fun. Jen is a good cook but does appreciate me basically taking over the kitchen most of time. She works hard at her job as a wine steward (Lots of physical work with the stocking etc).. She also has been fighting off bronchitis/whatever.

Quiche is fun and easy and very flexible with the possibilities The standard of onion and Swiss cheese is always great.. but so many other variations. I make half her way and half mine. I add to hers mushrooms, bacon, shrimp and asparagus. Both sides have spinach, onion, colored pepper... and I experiment with all different cheeses. The current one you see was a recipe of 5 eggs, ricotta, half and half, and white cheddar cheese for the custard, Added slivers of colored peppers, spinach, onion and broccoli . Some of you are in my Food/Recipe/Entertaining group on Facebook. It was a recipe another lady posted last week. Just titled Broccoli Quiche

I totally understand how you are feeling, feeling the very same way.

Tired of waiting for justice, sick of the dims and the lying LSM which aren’t going to change.

I have been trying to focus on what is good, truly enjoyed the 1st Step Ceremony yesterday.

Trump is at 51%, would win the popular vote if the election were today and all this in spite of the lies and negative coverage.

When I was 40 if I felt then like i do now, well I would be very unhappy. Now it is still rough (still have way too little blood) and a lot of other medical issues but you take the better days of less pain and problem and get used to the regular chronic issues and cope the best you can

My last professional career I worked as a chaplain with cancer/AIDS and Hospice. One of the philosophies was LIVE (fully) until you die. Hard to not give up when things are very difficult as we all know.
