Less than two weeks after “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett pleaded not guilty to 16 counts of disorderly conduct for allegedly lying to police about a hate crime, prosecutors have dropped charges in the case.

And they wiped his record clean. I wonder if that includes his prior rap sheet or just this charge. Can you imagine if they expunged his ENTIRE record?

Not only are some states sanctuaries for illegals to run to, but they are also sanctuaries for anyone with an elitist and/or minority status who commits a crime.

an absolutely disgusting ruling- man commits 16 felonies, and supposedly because the police came out strong against him before a trial, the judge rules that smollett ‘suffered enough’? Really? so someone can commit felonies and get off scott free if police make statements about the case? Disgusting!
Now Fox can have two lying, cheating, stealing black deadbeats on its payroll, Mama Brasierre and Juicy Smelly.
Rush just had a caller who proposed that since the Mueller report “exonerated” the president of collusion that the IL State Attorney or DA or whoever was prosecuting Smollett made the decision that a “black man” shouldn’t be charged/prosecuted if the president (a white man) wasn’t going to be. Seems to make sense but then what do we hicks know? We’re not as smart as the PC folks!
Maybe Smollett turned states evidence and has fingered Kamala Harris?

I couldn’t help but think of OJ’s statement when Smollett was reading his this morning. Such innocence!!! I think his attorney even added some x-y-z to the LBGQ-whatever this morning. I couldn’t catch it all.

“We’re told the State’s Attorney, Kim Foxx, told Chicago police she was dropping the case because Jussie would have only gotten community service if convicted and she said he has already performed community service so there is no point in prosecuting him. We could not find any record of Smollett doing community service.
We’re told Chicago police are “furious” and feel something untoward is going on with Kim Foxx. “
It wasn’t the police that let him go, it was the prosecutor, Kim Foxx (who had tried to get the police to let him go earlier). Supposedly she got him into a special program for young black first-time felons that drops the charges, seals and then expunges their record. It came out of the Obama years and was supposed to keep young black men from ending up in jail. (Of course, not committing the felony in the first place never seems to have occurred to them.)
