Good Grief.

If it’s impossible for the world to recognize Christ, and the other statements in the rest of your sentence are true, then no one would believe. Could believe. We wouldn’t know him.

Acknowledge: To recognize the existence of..

So you’re saying we don’t recognize the existence of Christ!??!.

Here’s where you’ll get “deep” and spout more things that make no sense :)

And it’s impossible to know who he is? I’ll let you in on a little secret. He’s the Son of God.

He came just so we COULD acknowledge him, know who he really is, and recognize him. Look it all up in the New Testament.

If you’re going to pontificate, at least make sense.

Just saying

He didn’t say “existence”

I took his meaning how would you recognize a supernatural deity

I don’t know either

But I feel it would manifest obviously and have me on my knees or belly in submission

Sure wouldn’t be a handshake or slap on the back

It would be awe exponential.....proper

Followed by immense appreciation

Am I wrong or is it my fire and brimstone upbringing on that church pew every Sunday morning and Wednesday nite

I think the answer to the conundrum is something like this:

the world can look and look and look at Christ all day and all night, all year and all decade, etc., and will not recognize Him as long as it remains the world and does not begin to undergo transformation.

Jmouse makes perfect sense.

Romans 3:11 no one understands; no one seeks for God.

Matthew 7:23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you;

Ephesians 4:18 being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart;

Exactly so.

The "jesus" of the History Channel is decidedly not the Lord Jesus Christ who is = Almighty God, God the Son, the second person of the Holy Trinity, THE ONLY SAVIOR, THE ONE and ONLY WAY, to get to heaven and to God the Father, THE ONLY TRUTH, THE RESURRECTION and THE ONLY LIFE, THE ONE, and ONLY ALL-SUFFICIENT SACRIFICE FOR SIN, THE KING OF ALL KINGS and LORD OF ALL LORDS before whom "EVERY KNEE shall bow, and EVERY TONGUE confess that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father".

That is just a small taste of who the Lord Jesus Christ is.

The History Channel will never, ever state, proclaim or openly acknowledge that He is any of the above. It cannot and will not because it is ultimately controlled and run by spiritually lost, blind, godless, demon dominated men who do not know God, but are a part of the Satanic world system that is in open rebellion against Him. Hence, the "jesus" they present is not the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible.
