The recalled products included California-grown conventional and organic avocados. They were packed at Henry Avacado's facility in California and distributed to six states: Arizona, California, Florida, New Hampshire, North Carolina and Wisconsin. Henry Avocado, a family owned and managed company, started packing in this facility in late January 2019 and every shipment is subject to the recall.
Henry Avacado said it is contacting its retail customers to confirm the recalled products have been pulled from the shelves. The company advises consumers to check the stickers on their avocados. The recalled products have "Bravocado" stickers. Henry Avocado organic products do not carry the "Bravocado" label on the sticker. Instead, those products are labeled "organic" and include "California" on the sticker. If this is the case, retailers can identify Henry Avocado organic products by the bar code on the stickers.
Henry Avocado urges consumers to discard or return the products to the place they were purchased for a refund.

So what you’re saying is that the recall is in high regard for the stupid factor.
I can dig it.
Funny, though: Anyone who knows anything about Avocados knows that the nutrients are in the layer just beneath the skin, which is why you peel them as opposed to scooping them.
The skin is just nasty tasting, nature’s way of ensuring it’s not eaten by pests or intelligent life on this rock.
I subscribe to that theory. There are numerous studies (yeah, I know) that suggest it’s true. Every time I see a story being hyped about e-coli I roll my eyes (it’s a symptom of the disturbing decline of public health, imho; there’s a lot of evidence to back up that statement).
If you’re not aware, research the health of babies born naturally vs. Cesarean; most people have no idea that their immune system isn’t fully-developed until they’re about 18 or so and that it begins with the trip down the birth canal.
Thankfully I was born naturally and, provided my health recovery (a long story), can say the same thing about my current health (early 50s). In fact, I feel better than I did when I was anywhere 20-30. It’s rather incredible and I’m not doing anything exceptional about it, including being rather lazy about recommended exercise.
Same problem occurred for us in AZ and some other states last year twice. Most of the voters in CA ag districts are our brothers in arms. Terrible loss.
