Roseanne Barr didn’t go down quietly. As you may recall, over the summer, the comedian, actress, and TV legend found the revival of her classic show Roseanne cancelled after a tweet she made in which she compared a black woman to an ape. During the fall-out, she was quick to go on the likes of Hannity, and to slam ABC for what they did next: taking the remaining cast and crew and launching the spin-off The Connors. Its maiden episode found them killing off “Granny Rose.”
You wouldn’t expect someone as volatile as Barr to calm down in the ensuing half-a-year. And she hasn’t. As per Deadline, she made a surprise stand-up appearance on March 16 at the Laugh Factory Las Vegas, introduced by her close friend of “about 33 years,” Andrew Dice Clay.(snip)
Barr then came out for a brief appearance, making grim jokes about where her head has been since last summer. “When you get fired, you get real suicidal. But I’d never kill myself because that would make too many f*ckin’ people happy,” Barr joked. “And I’m not about making people happy.”
She then read an open letter to her former network. “When you asked me back to once again bail out your s*it f*ckin’ low-rated network, I did so with the same vigor I’ve always rocked, and I delivered you the highest ratings that you ever had in ten f*ckin’ years,” she said to applause. “At the first sign of controversy you killed me off with a drug overdose. But you know what? I ain’t dead, b*tches.”

From somewhere in the distant past I remember one of her stand up routine jokes. “It’s no wonder women are bad at math. (holding up two fingers about a couple inches apart) For years we’ve been told that this is six inches”. I laughed till I cried.
ValJar is barely black. Her parents are so light skinned black that the black is pretty much washed out by the time it got to Valerie June Bowman, her birth name, which was changed to Jarrett; by marriage I assume.
ValJar is 49% European descent and 46% African descent. She is more European than black according to a DNA test which I think we all know is fallible and at best; a rough estimate. She doesn’t look black because she is mostly European.

In the ‘80s when she was “large”, she said she suffered from “anorexia dyslexia”. I laughed ‘til I cried. So funny.

A few months ago she was interviewed for an hour on Brandon Straka’s video show. Great interview.
I am way too old now but I heard, and have used that joke, before Rosy ever became a comedienne, and yes, I am a guy
The joke I heard as a kid, and have used for years, was; Why can't women parallel park? Because they have been told this (hold fingers two inches apart) is six inches.
I hope she’s ready to be considered a conservative at this stage in her life.
