Working with them at my job, Ive notice a trend of millennials and young folks smelling awefull. In conversations when I ask in a round about way about showering and taking a bath, they pretty much say they do it every now and then or looking at it as some strange phenomenon! Even my nephew rarely takes baths and I have to get on him about it since he works in the public and deal with gasoline around him. What gives?
You mean they didn’t blame the never-ending drought?.................
Its really a European thing. ..................

Ive noticed most French and Italians stink less now than they did 20 years ago when I was stationed there. I think theyre gradually getting the message.
I live in the south and dread summer coming up, two showers a day is the norm during summertime and sometimes I want three. Thats as much to stay cool as it is to stay clean.
Ditto that, but I take showers, not baths. Different strokes for different folks...
I see. And how long had he been dead when you discovered he was right? (John 11:39)
Interesting. First I’ve heard of this phenomenon, but then, come to think of it, I’m not around young people much; not at all actually.
Not to worry, the 'migrants' are taking up the slack...................
LOL. I read recently that California is drought free for the first time in ten years, so they can’t use that excuse anymore.
Millennials are very funny and weird.
I shower every day.
If you don’t shower every day, it is kind of nasty.
Gotta save de erf!.................
It goes far back before hippies. I am old enough to remember the hippie movement. I was in the Army at the time. I'm also old enough to remember beatniks like the archetype, "Maynard G. Krebs".
Before that what? Hobo poets?
After I play ball or work out I like to soak in a hot tub, then turn on the shower and rinse off. Good for relaxing the tired old muscles.
I’m too old to smell accurately anymore...
Sounds like a great opportunity for some software engineer to write a mobile application that measures body odor or breath odor on scale of 1 to ten. I read somewhere about an application that will measure farts (excuse me, ammonia levels), so why not the rest.
Wifey is always reminding me that I need a bath or to wash my hands or something else that she finds offensive to her. Being the gentleman, and relying on her testimony that her farts don’t smell, I abstain from commenting on such things in her presence.
.
I bathe every six months,
whether I need it or not.

LOL!
Snowflakes melt when wet?
They identify as cats?
Covers up the smell of ganja?
Onions...
Give them 5 minutes, then kill the hit water.
I bet shower times will decrease.
Thats why all the best perfumes come from France

My first trip to Europe was in 1968. One of my most enduring memories of that venture was the strong body-odor stench on every public conveyance, especially in France, Italy, and Spain. Whew, man it was awful, and much of it seemed to emanate from female strap-hangers with hairy armpits. Ugh! The good news is that nowadays most all of the tourist meccas seem to be heavily populated with very fashion-conscious young people, including, of course, hordes of tourists.
My first ‘taste’ of Europe was DeGaulle Airport in Paris. It was like a UN meeting and smelled like a barn................
In many ways the millennials are a mentally ill generation.

Absolutely no question about it, and two of the primary causative factors are the pitifully inadequate education systems and the insane addiction to smartphones. Studies are starting to appear warning of the detrimental physical and psychological consequences of that terrible addiction.
