Working with them at my job, Ive notice a trend of millennials and young folks smelling awefull. In conversations when I ask in a round about way about showering and taking a bath, they pretty much say they do it every now and then or looking at it as some strange phenomenon! Even my nephew rarely takes baths and I have to get on him about it since he works in the public and deal with gasoline around him. What gives?
In a bath you sweat out toxins and can soak in magnesium of epsom salts or whatever herbs etc you put in the bath. Can’t get same health effect in shower water runing over you plus in shower you can potentially be breathing in or having spray back off walls of whatever germs etc on them, and how clean is that shower head you’re putting your face under? Bath and shower both have pros and cons.
They Are Saving The Earth
My niece is like this.
She is a wonderful, smart, and pretty woman. Just stay upwind.
As my late uncle used to say “When you can smell yourself other people have been smelling you for 3 days.”
Lord my 19 year old daughter got in the shower yesterday morning before I did. 55 gallons of hot water later I attempted to shower and got nothing but cold water. I wish she would get a wild water conservation hair!
ps I did have an 80 gallon tank for a family of five and it crapped out in December. I found out quickly that Obumbler and his band of fascist decided that was too big for a family of five we only needed a max 55 gallon tank to save water and energy. A new 80 gallon tank was around $1200, just for the tank, ouch!
“water-resistant” not waterproof.
You are going to drive yourself crazy. Correcting grammar these days is a full time job.
These kids are a product of their institutionalization. They are being told how much they are damaging "mother earth" by even existing.
Awefull is an obsolete form of awful. 8>)
It's awfully hard to keep these words straight. 8>)
That sounds like the Millennials I know.
They find bar soap unsanitary and disgusting, but have two dozen fancy lotions and potions in the bath to help them get through their showers.
Kramer is that you??
Bathwater is a less-than-appetizing cocktail of soap, shampoo, dead skin cells, bacteria and germs, often with a splash of urine thrown in. But as unpleasant as it sounds, a few sips probably won't make you sick the amount of water in the tub typically dilutes anything potentially dangerous.
Do baths clean you?
The short answer: it depends on how clean your tub is. ... Of course, this isn't even including the bacteria and germs your body brings into the tub. If you aren't cleaning out your bathtub or rinsing yourself in the shower after you bathe, your bath is basically covering yourself in your own filth (yuck!).
Heh.
I knew a guy in early-60s HS, who wore Aramis Cologne, and you could smell him coming 1-2mins before even got into the classroom. Same when he wore Jade East. Phew.
Because showering takes time away from online porn?
I remember sitting next to someone on the airplane with a big head of dreds.
He was a millennial and he *stank!!*
I would assume anyone would typically clean their bathtub on a consistent basis. I know I do
These people LOVE their dirty clothes... dirt under your fingernails, no haircut, nothing is ironed, shoes over run at the heel... sheesh
Yes, in California I knew some that didn’t shower much and the women didn’t shave their legs or under their arms. They said if they shower all the time their body doesn’t put out some smell that attracts the opposite sex. Maybe that’s why so many turned gay.
