A Fort Lauderdale man was in for a surprise when he went to use the bathroom Thursday. Man finds iguana in toilet, calls 911. Firefighters respond to the home, remove the lizard. Iguana was taken outside and released into the wild. The man found an iguana inside his toilet bowl and called 911. Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded to the man's home and removed the lizard from the toilet. Firefighters then took the iguana outside and released it. The fire department shared pictures of the iguana on social media. "Can you imagine lifting the toilet seat and finding this? Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue said in a tweet. The man reportedly called Florida Fish and Wildlife first, but was told the agency doesn't respond to those type of calls.

lol........ Good one
That’s only an emergency depending on how bad you have to go.
Format?
LOL!
The wife should have taken a broom to shoo the goose outside.
We had a bat loose in the house some years ago.Used a tennis racket to resolve the problem.
If that were my service dog, that wouldn’t be the only tail broken.
I wrapped the tiny little rat with wings in a tee shirt and tossed it out the back door. If he had been aggressive, he would have been a shuttlecock as well.
My grandfather had a large surly gander on his farm.My grandmother told my mom to just shoo him away with her apron.
All that did was annoy the gander.Mom whistled for the cattle dog,he came, saw the problem and took care of it.
We try to never ask our expensive local government for anything. We are safety conscious and never have had a fire. We pay attention to home and community security. We want as little progressive government in our lives as posible.
Oh I hope you didn’t mistake my wow for concern :)
I just didn’t know they were considered invasive.
I looked them up and they do have a poisonous bite but I have no idea as to how strongly it would affect a human.
Like i said, city boy :)
I don’t like seeing animals hurt for no reason like abuse, but I am quite far away from being a PETA member :)
Some brooklyn piece of garbage kicked a cat about 15 feet and it was recorded and they showed it on the news.
THAT’S someone I would like to hurt.
Here’s a thought. Churches avail themselves of the same amount of fire-fighting and police protection the rest of us have to pay for. Freedom of religion should not mean a free ride on community obligations.
Hell no, I’m not a big lizard fan, I’d put 10 mags through my m-14 at it to make sure.
This reminds me of the long ago Clarence Thomas hearings when Anita Hill alleged he bragged about the size of his manhood. At the same time the US Territory of Guam was plagued by an infestation of Brown Tree Snakes that could grow up to maybe ten feet. I was struck by a horrible thought: imagine if he visited Guam, awoke at about 2:00 a.m. to answer the call of nature, noticed something odd happening in the commode, looked down, saw one emerging, and said to himself, “OMG!! I knew I had a good one, but THAT GREAT!!”
If you did that while it was still in the toilet, you’d have a far worse problem.
I usually call 1-800-IGAUNAS
Not in my books. Heh.
Whats easier?
Letting it clamp down on your bare hand then walking it outside.
