SecureDrop had a backdoor to bad guys that would then use it to identify who “whistleblowers” and take them out or collect the data being submitted to use to blackmail people, etc.. After this was revealed by “Q” the SecureDrop folks plugged the hack which enabled a remote plugin to be enabled that forwarded all submissions to a remotely configured location.
It he was a spook, there would be little to no trace of his connections.
I was always curious about that, as I always thought of him as one of the good guys, from way back. If he was a good guy, then Q would not have been so cavalier about him being murdered, I would think. If he was a bad guy, I don’t think Q or our side would have murdered him. He’d just be in the brackets. So it’s a mystery. Q indicates something about Russia in connection with him, so maybe there’s a connection that involves Russia.
