A Case for Trump by Victor David Hanson My Copy Arrived Today!
I have been enjoying my downloads of VDH on youtube. I have read many of his articles, but few of his books. So I ordered on Alibris, and will start the book tonight.
Anyone else reading it?
For all newbies Start with his work on youtube, you will be very pleased.
I think he still is a Dem

He has a book out about that. I have read other agrarians ie Wendell Berry but VDH is in a class of his own.
Thanks.

I thought his middle name was DAVIS. Hmmmph!
I understand he still operates the farm. I heard recently what crop they mostly grow. Something that seemed real down to earth and mundane, but it slips my mind.
Yeah, because of many friends like this I have met several people I otherwise would not have met...

Thank you. Just one notch above plums for prunes. Neither one is what one would call glamorous, but much appreciated in our everyday lives.
Good to know. I am going through Jordan Peterson’s Maps of meanings downloads. I have been trying to think of what Hillsdale course I wanted to start out with. VDH will fit the bill.
I got my copy today as well! I may jump into it tomorrow.
The difference is, VDH has such a calm and rational demeanor, he appeals to independents who would never pay attention to people like Hannity or Ingraham. Steyn is another, but a bit of an acquired taste. VDH gives the impression he is genuine and objective which is key because undecided people are only going to be persuaded by logic and rationality, not by bomb-throwing or hyperpartisanship (or hyperTrumpism).
thanks!
I absolutely agree and you stated his appeal succinctly and accurately.
