President Trump’s former lawyer and fixer, Michael Cohen, considered seeking a presidential pardon last year, it was revealed Wednesday. Cohen’s attorney, Lanny Davis, told The Post that his client did entertain the possibility of a pardon as part of a joint defense agreement Cohen had with the president after Cohen’s Manhattan office was raided in April 2018. “During that time period, he directed his attorney to explore possibilities of a pardon at one point with Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, as well as other lawyers advising President Trump,” Davis said in a statement.

“Cohen’s attorney, Lanny Davis”?

This is an incestuous network, and no one should trust anything that comes out of DC. They are very much not on the side of the American people.

Hah!

A rat lawyer being betrayed by a rat lawyer.

I wonder if Lanny made tapes.

So what is the big deal you can ask, but that doesn’t mean you’l get it.

I asked the Cop if he could see it in him to not give me a Ticket. He said No and he gave me a Ticket. We’ll I tried, and who wouldn’t?

From now on refer to Lanny Davis as Cohens' fixer.

Make memes.

That should rattle some liberals and the Democratic Media Complex.

"Pakistani Lanny never fails to muddy the bathwater."

Cohen has admitted that he is not paying long time Clinton lawyer, Davis. Who then is?

One has every reason to believe that it's someone from the Clinton machine. A lawyer's loyalty lies with his paymaster. As long as the goals of the client align with the goals of the paymaster, this is not a problem. So then, how does Cohen determine when a mis-alignment occurs?

“So then, how does Cohen determine when a mis-alignment occurs?”

He doesn’t. Once you’ve sold your soul to the devil your life is over. Unlike a normal client/attorney relationship, where the attorney serves the client, this relationship is reversed. Cohen is now a pawn, serving Lanny Davis and his masters. Cohen sold his freedom of action for “free” legal service. Now he is paying dearly. Once he is no longer useful, he will be discarded. At age 52 he has a number of years of misery ahead of him.

I wonder what dirt would come up if federal agents raided Davis’s legal office and home and seized all his records?

Read this piece, and it's a litany of conflicting statements even from the same jackass (Lanny Davis).

1. On one hand, Davis claims that Trump's lawyers dangled a pardon in front of Cohen. But then he offers this exact quote: "During that time period, he [Cohen] directed his attorney to explore possibilities of a pardon at one point with Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, as well as other lawyers advising President Trump."

2. Davis claims that Cohen -- through his attorneys -- sought a pardon from Trump ... but then Davis insists that this is actually consistent with Cohen's Congressional testimony where he claimed he never wanted, or would accept, a pardon.

I've never seen a lawyer so thoroughly undermine his own client as Davis has been doing for the last eight months.

When is someone going to ask the question: whom is paying Davis legal bills?

I keep thinking of MRPC 1.1 (competence) and 1.3 (diligence). Lanny often seems to be worrying about Hillary in his representation of Cohen.

You’re right. The ‘mis-alignment’ occurred the second he accepted Davis as his attorney.

It never ceases to amaze me how activities that are normal and common to politicians and businessmen are draped in impeachment-level criminality when applied to Donald Trump.

I’ve said before if Trump were to find a cure for cancer, the Democrats and the media would accuse him of putting thousands of doctors and nurses out of work.
