    Not wise to beat an animal that weighs thousands of pounds. I don’t think it was an “accident”. Bad Mahoot—Poor trainer got what he deserved. Elephants are loyal like a dog to their masters—just don’t abuse them—they will take revenge. I grew up around elephants and saw two “accidents” both to bad trainers who shouldn’t be handling animals. Same animals with a good trainer were great workers and performers who would protect and take care of their trainers.
