SETH RICH - RETRACTION Published: 04 March 2019
On March 5, 2018, Infowars published an article by Dr. Jerome Corsi titled Anti-Trump Left Tries to Revive Dying Russia Narrative by Blaming Roger Stone. In that article, Dr. Corsi alleged that Seth Rich and his brother, Aaron Rich, were involved in downloading and leaking emails from the DNC to WikiLeaks.
Dr. Corsi acknowledges that his allegations were not based upon any independent factual knowledge regarding Seth or Aaron Rich. Instead, Dr. Corsi relied primarily on, and quoted from, a column by Adm. James Lyons (Ret.) that was published in the Washington Times on March 2, 2018, but was retracted on September 30, 2018. (The Washington Times retraction is available here.)
It was not Dr. Corsis intent to rely upon inaccurate information, or to cause any suffering to Mr. Richs family. To that end, Dr. Corsi retracts the article and apologizes to the Rich family.

Because Assange/Wikileaks has never revealed a source.
That’s why they have sources.

The Deep State sure doesn’t want anyone suggesting that Seth Rich was the Wikileak and that the Democrats plugged him.......

That doesn’t matter to Assange. Revealing a source, even a dead source, would kill his integrity with future sources. Without that trust no one would risk their careers and lives passing him information.

I have been hoping and praying that Julian Assange would do America a favor and tell the world who did send him the emails.

In the case of the Kopechnes it was a combination of money and lots of it with appeals from local pols and Kennedy owned churchmen not to harm ‘the Last Kennedy, the conservator of the Camelot Legacy’ and probably some hints that bad things might happen if they didn't quietly fade away. They did to a really expensive condo in Boca Raton.

The $25,000 reward said so.
He’s not just going to name his sources. For obvious reasons.
The $25,000 told the story.

Corsi has been the subject of a government Witch Hunt for some time now. My guess is that this "retraction" has something to do with that case That would be my guess too. The topic of Seth Rich is extremely sensitive for many of the swamp creatures.. more so than talk of FISA abuses, fake dossiers, etc. Nobody dares to even mention Rich.
I personally believe Seth was killed by people in government, and not just DNC contractors. I think the FBI or someone linked to the DOJ performed that task at the request of Hillary's people.
Too many high level people know who did what re: Seth Rich. They're all scared to death that someone's going to accidentally revive interest in the case and do more digging.
Fighting accustions of FISA abuse, etc. is easy... most Americans don't have a clue about what's legal and what's not. But, accessory to murder... that's one everyone can understand. Convictions could be quite easy.

I think they are worried Aaron Rich will be murdered. I had not heard Seth’s brother was involved .

I have been hoping and praying that Julian Assange would do America a favor and tell the world who did send him the emails. Not giving up their sources - no matter what - is how they can keep in business. Assange DID say, though, that he DIDN'T get them from Russia - so he DOES say when someone isn't a source. That should mean a lot more. Hilliary & Co. have no credibility.

I hadn’t even heard the rumors about his brother, which is apparently what Corsi wrote about and retracted.
Seth himself of course not here to demand retractions about him individually.

From your link :
By Washington Times Staff - - Sunday, September 30, 2018
The Washington Times published an op-ed column titled, More cover-up questions: The curious murder of Seth Rich poses questions that just wont stay under the official rug,
by Adm. James Lyons (Ret.) (the Column), on March 1 online and on March 2 in its paper editions.
The Column included statements about Aaron Rich, the brother of former Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich, that we now believe to be false.
One such statement was that: Interestingly, it is well known in the intelligence circles that Seth Rich and his brother, Aaron Rich, downloaded the DNC emails and was paid by Wikileaks for that information.
The Washington Times now does not have any basis to believe any part of that statement to be true,
and The Washington Times retracts it in its entirety.
The Column also stated:Also, why hasnt Aaron Rich been interviewed [by law enforcement], and where is he?
The Washington Times understands that law enforcement officials have interviewed Mr. Rich and that he has cooperated with their investigation.
The Washington Times did not intend to imply that Mr. Rich has obstructed justice in any way,
and The Washington Times retracts and disavows any such implication.
The Washington Times apologizes to Mr. Rich and his family.
All online copies of the Column have been deleted
and all online content referencing the Column has been deleted to the extent within The Washington Times control.

For a long tiime, Kopechne’s parents trusted the claims by Kennedy representatives that the sole purpose of an autopsy would be to embarrass the Kopechne family and tarnish Mary Jo’s reputation by finding evidence of pregnancy or a use of birth control prohibited by Roman Catholic teaching. The Kopechnes eventually wised up and realized that they had been misled.
