Actor Luke Perry, who gained fame as a teen heartthrob on "Beverly Hills, 90210" and became a fan-favorite TV dad with his starring role on the hit series "Riverdale," has died at age 52 after suffering a massive stroke.
"He was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends," Perry's publicist Arnold Robinson told Fox News Monday. "The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning."

It is always sad to report the death of a person but why do we have media report the death of actors and not the homeless man?
We need to stop putting actors and actresses on such a high pedastool.

Not necessarily - it sounds like a hemorrhagic stroke (burst blood vessel) which can be caused by high blood pressure but also by genetic weakness, impact damage (he did a lot of stunts) or just dumb luck as your arteries harden over time.
Just staying in the numbers helps your odds - doesnt make you immune.
Such a shame. RIP.
I think he looks just right for his age in that in that photo. My husband is close to the same age and after a lifetime working outside in all weather conditions, he has aged to be ruggedly handsome. We are just used to seeing celebrities who fight aging with products and treatments. Perhaps the late Mr. Perry eschewed hair dye, Botox and face lifts.
Just loved him. From all accounts he was a humble, low key gentleman. RIP.
What is wrong with you???

Why do you show up to sling mud like that? People say he was by all accounts a very good man and a good role model in his community.
He did charity work quietly never seeking recognition for it.
What a dick
Forehead wrinkles look the same to me. First one is a portrait with soft background and studio lighting. Even normal people have them retouched by the photographer as part of the deal. Second one is a candid shot with a harsher background, no flattering lighting, longer beard and not touched up.
Im sticking to my original opinion. That or my hardworking husband needs a thorough check up ASAP because he is two years younger than Mr. Perry and looks just as old.
So sad. May he RIP, and prayers to his family.
Lol pot meet kettle
Well, he did look like he was 30, when he was in his twenties, playing a teenager.
Liberals didn't like the 80's nostalgia (Reagan) boom of the last few years, so they are trying to force-feed a 90's revival (Clinton).

105 people die each minute, 151,600 people die each day, over 55 million people die each and every year. Its a fact of life for heroes & villains alike unavoidable. Quiet tragedies and secrets in tears shed noble. But when it befalls on someone once on film insignificant, well, the world is changed forever and the floodgates of crocodile tears appear. While ridiculous is redefined.
didn’t know it was based on Archie comics
I think he really was 30, when he played a teenager.
I’ll stick with the OTR reruns.
