Just curious as to how many people on FR have been banned by Breitbart. I've listened to their morning radio show on Patriot for years, but only visited their site maybe twice a week on average and commented even less frequently. I went to their web site this morning and found out that I'm banned and ALL of my posts ever were removed from their site.
I initially thought I was banned for flaming a liberal troll (they have a LOT of them) or for questioning Obama's sexuality and "Michelle's" real gender, but it appears that I was banned for criticizing their Editor in Chief, Alex Marlowe (Mr. Dr. Marlowe, who reminds listeners frequently of the fact that his wife is a doctor) and Breitbarts decision to part ways with Raheem Kassam, who was the best host theyve ever had. I believe I also made mention of the fact that his "LA roots were showing".
Its kind of ironic that Marlowe has criticized Twitter, Google, Facebook, etc., for banning conservatives and refers to them as the Masters of the Universe while he and what was Andrew Breitbarts network are doing the same thing.
I listen to Breitbart News every morning and I CAN’T STAND Marlowe! He talks and sounds like a pre-pubescent teenager. Everytime he says “masters of the universe” I want to put my fist through the radio.
It is a treat when there’s a sub filling in for him.
I used to participate semi-regularly in their forum. Then a couple of years ago when I tried to respond to a post I got a banned notice. I have no clue why, so I emailed them asking for the reason. I did so several times over a few months but never got the courtesy of a reply.
They no longer get any “clicks” from me.
As a general rule, those who own media outlets of any kind take a very dim view of people using their property to criticize them.
Rush Limbaugh once banned a long-time caller (from Maine, but I don’t remember his name) because the caller criticized Rush live, on the show.
Perhaps if you had founded and built up a media property yourself, you would understand the reasons for this.
I rarely go to breitbart, because when I do I don’t find their content to be diverse or wide ranging in scope. They seem politically focused, and that’s fine. But I’m not surprised they have a chip on their shoulder. You have to be careful about challenging the big dogs. They think they’re leading the pack in a world that’s against them, so they don’t have much tolerance for dissent among the ranks.
Marlowe is absolutely horrible. He is not really a Trump guy either. The only show worth listening too is the evening show with Pollock/Mansour.
Marlowe sucks period.
Marlowe is insufferable. I don’t know how anyone can listen to him.
Of course, a media property that censors criticism of itself is basically a magnificent exercise in hypocrisy.
Absolutely agree!
Unlistenable.
His wife is really a doctor? Wow, that’s something. Maybe he could help me with this funny-looking mole I’ve got.
They no longer get any clicks from me.

Not to worry. My clicks probably more than make up for the loss of your clicks.
As post 4 above says, if youre in the tent of friends with whom you mostly agree its best to being pissing out of the tent and not pissing on the folks inside the tent. Folks dont like to be pissed on.
I wonder if the problems with Brietbart moderators or with the Disqus service.. I swear to God that Disqus is also moderating customer website comments surreptitiously.
i was banned long ago and have no idea why ...
And perhaps I understand the definition of hypocrisy as well.
Here's your sign.
Most forums I frequent actually include in their posting rules something about not being allowed to comment on the quality of the site or how it is administered. I was temp banned from a site for doing that once.
At least one I frequent doesn’t even allow you to discuss the banning practices of OTHER sites. i.e. this thread would violate that site’s policies if it was there.
I’m sorry you’ve experienced this.
I personally love Brietbart site. I don’t listen to their radio though.
I ran a somewhat well-trafficked forum for a number of years. If you came on board with some fruitloop bulls*** like that, I wouldn't want you around either.
Just sayin'
His name is on the List.
Now there’s an insightful comment from none other than that great American philosopher Bill Engvall...
