This building is a colossal eyesore in the SF skyline! It looks like a gigantic glass-covered penisI It is completely out of scale with the rest of the city. Another Liberal disgrace in the city of my birth. Austin Powers would say “It’s a Big Dick!”
San Francisco is full of fugly and bland architecture, particularly of its skyscrapers... largely because they haven’t honestly built an attractive skyscraper since the 30s.
Yes, this one is ugly, but looking at the SF Skyline, pretty fugly across the board.
So would you say it is circumcising itself?
That was a common criticism of the World Trade Center in NYC; it was so different (and so much larger) than anything else there - a drastic skyline change.

Grew up in Palo Alto. Visiting SF was always exciting at any age. My two sons left CA at a young age but took them back to SF once, had lunch at the Cliff House and the next day dinner at Alioto's and that was it, headed for Yosemite and then North Star. SF has been a heart-breaker for several decades.
As far as I know, the Salesforce Tower building is anchored to bedrock and probably not at any risk of collapsing. The Millennium Tower is the one they cut corners on, and even if it doesn't collapse in a big quake it might need to be taken down as a safety precaution.
Las Vegas made MGM completely dismantle the Harmon Tower on the Strip after it was complete due to the discovery of construction defects. There is precedent for removing faulty high-rises: Harmon Hotel Demolition.
