Grew up in Palo Alto. Visiting SF was always exciting at any age. My two sons left CA at a young age but took them back to SF once, had lunch at the Cliff House and the next day dinner at Alioto's and that was it, headed for Yosemite and then North Star. SF has been a heart-breaker for several decades.

SF has been a heart-breaker for several decades.

The time I was there from 1994-2016 was fun as my wife and I were starting a family. Have been gone 3 years - on a recent visit wondered how in the world I could have ever enjoyed that place.
