It was a chilly winter night in Greenville, South Carolina and Emerson and Maya were on Girl Scout duty selling cookies outside a store.
At one point, a man approached the stand and bought seven boxes of cookies worth $40, and told them to keep the change, according to cookie manager Kayla Dillard.
Then, he went back to the table and said: Pack up all of your cookies. Im taking them all so yall can get out of this cold, Dillard said in a Facebook post. He spent $540 on cookies, she said.

He had just smoked a joint and had a bad case of the munchies?
ME either, 12 cookies are overpriced not particularly good. I’d rather bake my own with real ingredients than all those chemicals.
Her sisters are named Lake and Palmer ;-)
Oh come on.
I’m perfectly fine with blasting the troop leader but you said this to the little girls?
We can use buying cookies from Girl Scouts as a teachable moment. We could say Im glad your mother didnt abort you so you can sell me these cookies. Or Im buying these cookies to support your efforts but I disagree with the GSA corporate for supporting baby killing abortions. Ok next time they knock on my door....,/
I dont buy the cookies anymore. I refuse to support a group that teaches abortion and feminism.

I don’t, either. I will not spend one penny to support the lesbian liberals who run the Scouts. It’s disgusting that they use these young girls the way they do.
Girl Scout Cookies are a child labor scam to support a radical Leftist corporation.
good question.
Girl Scouts still funding Planned Parenthood?
...Sounds like a far more positive twist on the Little Match Girl.
Those are the angel stories girls will remember forever.
Many businesses will not allow the kids to sell under cover or inside entrances even in the worst of weather.
I was a brownie, girl scout and then a cadet. This was in the late 60’s and early 70’s. I will not buy cookies or support them in any way due their abortion and feminism policies.
Here in Louisville, there are panhandlers on MANY major intersections... I see them every day. A local news station did an investigative story on them.
Many make a comfortable living with their ‘begging’. They take buses from downtown, out to the richer suburbs, panhandle for a few hours, then bus back home. They report they can collect several hundred dollars in a few hours.
Sometimes, multiple beggars will work the same corner. They take turns, so they can all have breaks.
It’s ridiculous. I used to feel bad when I saw them. Now, I just get mad. They litter the corners where they squat. I think they should be arrested.
Yeah, like leave those girls out there freezing so that they’ll be able to tell their grandkids how they stood out in freezing weather to sell cookies.
I’m sure he was hoping for some free cookies in return for his generosity...
You mean, the NEA teachers. Or maybe your state and federal govt.
Funny - been a GS leader over a decade and havent done an abortion badge yet
Lots of camping though. The ultimate feminism, survival skills.
No
Booth sales are signed up for and becomes the troop obligation to honor the commitment
Plus they have to get rid of the cookies they ordered for the booth sale
