Who cannot learn to code.

Okay, again I just gotta' ask.

What is the joke with "learn to code".

I see it all over the internet. What's funny about it?

I think but am not sure that the “learn to code” phrase originate recently when so many Buzzfeed/Huffpo and some other “journalists” (cough/gag) got fired. Someone advised that they learn to code.

Back when hussein was killing all the manufactuing and mining jobs in the East, snarky journalists told the newly-unemployed workers, “Learn to code”. Implying their jobs wouldn’t come back and they were too stupid to get a ‘modern’ job.

That popped back up again recently with all the journalism layoffs when Patriots threw it back in their faces. Thus, Learn to Code.

About
“Learn to Code” is an expression used to mock journalists who were laid off from their jobs, encouraging them to learn software development as an alternate career path. The phrase was widely posted on Twitter following the announcement of layoffs at BuzzFeed and The Huffington Post in late January 2019.

Origin
On February 10th, 2014, BuzzFeed News[8] published a quiz titled “Should You Learn to Code?,” which provided links to articles recommending coding for people with various interests or professions.

Several months later, in April 2014, in response to a comment by Mark Zuckerberg about shifts in energy use that has led to many coal mines being closed and coal miners behind laid off, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg at the Future of Energy Summit said, “You’re not going to teach a coal miner to code. Mark Zuckerberg says you teach them [people] to code and everything will be great.

Isn’t Learn to code what HRC/DNC basically told the out of work people in the rust belt and Midwest about their jobs that went to China or Mexico? Too Bad retrain for something else—

So when the shoe is on the other foot so to speak-right back at them.

When a bunch of Huff post staffers (or Buzzfeed or Vox or whatever) got laid off recently (most likely because some Obama-era money for propagandizing US citizens had literally run out), some of them put heartfelt screeds on Twitter which were half arms-akinbo, eyebrows-raised, "why,-they-can't-do-this-to-ME-why,-don't-they-know-who-I-am-I-graduated-cum-laude-from-Brown-with-a-degree-in-14th-century-lesbian-Eskimo-poetry"

...and half, "OMG, what am I gonna DO I have student loans and I don't know how to be a barista someone please hire me."

Given their snotty entitled attitude towards blue collar white males deliberately made unemployed under Obama ("we'd give you advice, but you're too stupid to learn how to program") --well, when it hit them, let's just say revenge is a dish best served cold. In this case, the condensation point of Helium.
