“Empire” star Jussie Smollett is now charged with a felony following an attack that was allegedly staged.
The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office confirmed to “Extra” that Smollett has been charged with one count of felony disorderly conduct for filing a false police report.
He is due in court at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Hollyweird is blaming the Chicago PD for lying.
“We’re trying to get in touch with his lawyers,” he told The Post.
Under Illinois law, Smollett, 36, could face up to three years in prison if convicted of the crime.
I wonder why this is not a hate crime ?
But he so expected to just be believed because he’s homo and black and stuff.
He expected to be a hero to the other SJWs.
If nothing else, old Jussie has caused a slight change in the popular vernacular. Instead of “it doesn’t pass the smell test”, we can use “it doesn’t pass the SMOLLETT test”.
Will CNN be there to cover it?
But what should Social Jussie Warriors look like? Like two Nigerians? Black antifada masks? Blackface?
It is good to see Chicago PD working to take another thug off the streets. Hopefully they will lock him up for as long as possible.

The righteous indignation spewing out from his attorneys tomorrow will create a hazardous waste alert.
This hoax is no different than the investigation into Trump. It’s a concerted effort to smear Trump and us. I’d bet the farm that someone or a group is behind Smellits hoax.
Trump has an excellent legal argument to keep her out. She was the daughter of a Yemini diplomat and as such does not receive birthright citizenship. Her side will argue that at the time of her birth, the father was no longer a diplomat. It can go all the way to the Supreme Court. However as long as Trump is President, she won’t be allowed to legally enter the US. Of course if the Democrats returned to the White House, they would welcome her.
If there really had been two MAGA guys who beat this character up, would they be negotiating with them? Smollett is really getting kid-gloves treatment - one slap on the wrist coming up.
That’ll really rile up the three people that still go to Yahoo.
