This week, now that the Chicago Police Department has “shifted the trajectory of the investigation” and now believes Jussie Smollett may have faked his own bias attack, we’ll be hearing apologies from a lot of progressive activists, celebrities and politicians.
With three simple words, they’ll disarm their detractors, pour oil on troubled waters. They’ll help to reunify a culture by admitting that sometimes their ideological opponents are correct.
Just kidding. Don’t hold your breath waiting for mea culpas from Cory Booker, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and Kamala Harris, or (throwback time!) Al Sharpton, who opined that if Donald Trump simply remained silent on the Smollett matter, it would be sinister. The formerly successful actress Ellen Page blamed the nonexistent assault on…Mike Pence.

C and D list actors get onto Twitter while they aren’t working and try to get attention from directors and producers by virtue signaling their progressivism, which becomes a competitive echo chamber of hate. If we were to contact producers with a list of actors that have bought into these hoaxes and promised that we will never spend money on anything with them in it again, the C and D list actors would get the message and get off Twitter.

First unusual things was that my local news channel carried the story last evening indicating that the whole thing was perhaps a fraud and my local news channel never goes against the Democrat machine.
Second, with many extreme Democrats in power and speaking the “truth” about what their goals are the “moderate” Democrats are afraid the American People are waking up to them. So the word may go out to “silence” some of the extreme narrative (all whites are bad) and an example may be made of Smollett.

Jussie was helped by the media to hurt America. Americans everywhere lost ground because of the lies and the rush by the media to judge the lies as truth
