Jussie Smollett case to go to grand jury as it's alleged Empire star 'REHEARSED hoax attack with two Nigerian brothers who he paid $3,500 to assault him with bleach and a noose'

A grand jury is slated to hear the Jussie Smollett case next week, according to law enforcement sources familiar with the investigation into the Empire actor's alleged hoax attack.

Chicago police insiders told TMZ that authorities are keeping a close eye on two Nigerian brothers, who were arrested and questioned about the attack before being released on Friday, to make sure that Smollett doesn't try to contact them.

Investigators have said they believe Smollett may have paid Empire extras Abimbola 'Abel' and Olabinjo 'Ola' Osundairo $3,500 to assault him in an orchestrated, rehearsed attack on January 29.

Sources say Smollett initially agreed to sign complaints against his assailants, but declined to do so once he heard that Abel and Ola were the men in custody

He is going to be very popular in jail.
The hardcore’s will stand in line to run trains on him.
He might even enjoy it.

Far left liberal WGN TV in Chicago - Dean Richards pleading with everyone to hear Jussie’ “side of the story” before we rush to judgement.

Probably headed up by Snoop Dog.

Both men are said to be loyal fans of former President Barack Obama.

Will this make it into the American press?

“Watch the prosecutor throw the case.”
That reminds me of a case in this area from two years ago.
The Kate Steinle Murder case. She was shot and killed on Fisherman’s Wharf (tourist area in San Francisco) by an illegal alien. He had been deported at least 3 times before.

The shooter was judged ‘Not Guilty’since it was ‘an accidental shooting’. Not even Manslaughter!
Many people think the prosecutor didn’t even try to convict,
this being a Sanctuary City and all.

We heard his side of the story, twice. The official police report and his appearance on Good morning America. Right now he clammed up and hiding behind lawyers

popping pimples is what they do best.

And yet, they still run circles around the US press when it comes to stories with a political bent.

If it hadn’t been for the UK Telegraph’s Washington DC correspondent, Ambrose Evans-Pritchard, half of the Whitewater story would still be untold.

From the article....

“Sources say Smollett initially agreed to sign complaints against his assailants, but declined to do so once he heard that Abel and Ola were the men in custody because he knew them and felt bad for them. “

So he was willing to “sign complaints” which means he was agreeing to prosecute someone....who he knew would have been innocent.....and go to court to frame some innocent people.

What a total F’ing scumbag piece of shit.

Sad, isn’t it, but true. UK papers here get to the truth faster than our own.

For one thing, a Grand Jury is supposed to be secret...so Smollett is protected from the public eye and can say whatever he wants to about his “crime” with no repudiation from the authorities available to contradict him.

Huh? Smollett's lawyer will set him on fire before he lets him go near a grand jury.

Jussie just ended his acting career with this stupid stunt.

Hope he spends lots of time thinking about how he squandered everything to perpetrate a hateful lie against Trump supporters all based on his prejudice.

Who sits on a Grand Jury, regular citizens or something else? Hopefully, not regular citizens, or this will become another episode of Performance Art in the courtroom.

Most of the time a case will go to a branch court for the probable cause hearing. You'd have the States Attorney for victim/witness, and Defense Attorney or public defender for the criminal, with a judge deciding whether there is probable cause to proceed to trial. Run of the mill dope cases, hot cars, ect. willl usually go to the felony branch court. Cases more serious in nature, or cases where the state feels they have a bad hombre and don't want to take a chance with a finding of no probable cause will go to the Grand Jury, which is a rubber stamp almost.

Regular citizens are on the Grand Jury. In Cook County they serve for about a month, hearing numerous cases. A States Attorney questions witness/victim, no judge or defendant present. The Jury then decides if the case should proceed to trial by voting either True Bill or No Bill.

Early what I was thinking. Our celeb media gets the word, then goes first to the attorneys to see if they can get more from shutting down the story, this takes time.
