More male bashing. The anti-male Gillette ad made news recently but I was subjected to this last night while watching a hockey game and there were countless critical comments from viewers. Talk about misplaced demographics. Looks as if Jeff won in the long run. Imagine this ad with the genders reversed.

I always refer to VWs as “Hitler Cars.”

Pretty much standard fare now.
Making the male look stupid, especially White male.
Inter-racial couples now make up nearly half of fantasy modern advertisements.
Showing White Male doing stupid things and Females and Children laughing as he gets hurt.

With a chick that hot — and he’s playing viddy-o games?
He’s a jerk.
And there ARE some Real-Life Jerks.
I thought it was funny.
Sue me.

Not like the Gillette ad at all. It’s a joke. It made me laugh.

Maybe male bashing, but look deeper. Maybe if she treated him more like a person than a pet to control and train like an unthinking animal, he wouldn’t have retreated into virtual reality in order to retain his sanity. Just a thought. . .

You are not wrong. The gender specific hi-five was over the top too.

I suggest you wean yourself off of alphabet news. I’ll probably never see your VW advertisement other than your reveal.

They aren’t moving. Everything is being sold to cover the costs of keeping a VW running.

When VW makes an ad of a man driving away in one of their cars from a woman ranting and raving about inconsequential nothings then I'll consider the score even.
As a stand alone ad...not too bad.
If you spend more attention to your own VR world and/or personal entertainment instead of giving that attention to your girlfriend/wife then you're going to be alone.
Women need attention. That's just a fact of life men have to know if they want to keep them.
Or maybe there was a more subtle message after all.
Maybe he successfully got out of a bad relationship
and she wasn't smart enough to catch on to how he went about it.
She simply blames him instead of seeing the breakup as being her fault.
