Sen. Kamala Harris said this morning she supports “some type of” reparations to black Americans for slavery.
In an interview with the “Breakfast Club,” a radio show on New York City’s Power 105.1, host Charlamagne asked Kamala Harris about reparations. “Where do you stand on some form of reparations for black people? Here you see Mayor De Blasio saying the marijuana economy could be a form of reparations. Marianne Williamson says black people should get a hundred billion in slave reparations–like, where do you stand on it?”
Harris responded:
Well look, I think that we have got to address that again, it’s back to the inequities. There, through–look, America has a history of 200 years of slavery. We had Jim Crow. We had legal segregation in America for a very long time. The Voting Rights Act was only strong for 50 years and then they wiped it out with this United States Supreme Court in the Shelby decision, to the point that 22 states immediately thereafter put in place laws that one court found were crafted with surgical precision to have black people not be able to vote.”
So we’ve got to recognize, back to that earlier point, people aren’t starting out on the same base, in terms of their ability to succeed and so we have got to recognize that and give people a lift up. And, there are a number of ways to do it. Part of my initiative again around the ‘Lift Act’ is that same point–you lifting people up who are making less than a hundred thousand dollars a year. What I want to do about rent is the same thing. What we need to do around education and understanding disparities, what we need to do around HBCUs. But we have a history of racism in America.
Charlamagne asked again, “So you are for some type of reparations?”
“Yes I am, yes I am,” Harris responded.
Donna Brazile and April Ryan are also out there pushing for a handout…
That line deserves a rimshot!
How about this: Instead of living in a 3rd world $*it-hole country with 3rd world problems such as disease, lack of water, malnutrition, terrorists, and animals looking to eat you, you get to live in 1st world awesomeness with 1st world problems with plenty of food and water where you living standards are better than 99.9% of all humanity ever in existence?

All black people or just blacks from West Africa? Will DNA testing be involved? What percentage of West African black will be required to receive reparations?
The Deep State manipulators love folks like Kamela, Nikki Haley, and Marc Rubio to run for office. They aren't assimilated and they'll say and do whatever their handlers tell them to say and do, because they have no knowledge of or pride in US culture, history, and traditions. That, it's said, takes three generations.

Why demand it only from innocent Americans?
Is there not enough guilt and money from their ancestral lands to begn the process?
I think we should pay all black Americans who want reparations a form of reparations.
That is, the US takes out a hundred year lease on an enclave in Africa. We provide its water, sewers, electrical and road infrastructure, then build empty buildings and lodgings in it.
A large fence surrounds it, to keep out locals, who are encouraged to build around the enclave to sell goods to those within.
Any black US citizen can go there to live for a year, yet return to the US if not satisfied. After a year, they get permanent residency from the host country and lose their US citizenship.
A separate enclave holds black prisoners who agree to move to Africa. Somewhat different rules.

My 23andMe results show I am 1% West African. Genealogy done so far shows nearly all lines going back to people in the colonies in the 1600’s and very early 1700’s - but no slaves showing thus far. Think I’ll pass even though it appears somebody was in the mix way back there, though so tempted to pull an Elizabeth Warren on my next job application.
Reminds me of the old song “Just looking for a handout”...and that’s all I will say about that song.
