Keep the Truth coming Mr. President
Keep on Tweeting!
Well, she just wasn’t saying it with the hostility and challenge that the left would - I could tell she wanted him to knock down their silly talking points. I also know full well that SHE doesn’t agree with them.

It is hitting me like atlas shrugged it. Orwell did a good job creating the gloomy atmosphere and the hopelessness. Probably not a really good book for me to read while im depressed about my eyes! Or for anybody to read if they are feeling down.
I do agree with you on the snark, though. She can be quite sarcastic and rude when she wants....and she’d running a close second to Hannitus Interruptus in the Cutting People Off challenge.
Well Im having Im glad you havent been banned, that would be depressing!
Yeah I agree its amazing how much has changed. Even in El Paso, they would cross the border to work and then go back home. It would still see a lot of young girls for babies that came over here to have their anchor baby. But nothing like it is now.
I still cant believe that Los Angeles used to be predominately white in the 50s and 60s. It has definitely changed completely.
Amen and thank you.
The jokes just write themselves.
I agree and I’ll refrain for jumping to conclusions.
I’m all about the positive!
Amen for their prayers as always.
I’m glad you mentioned how depressing 1984 is.
I started reading and found it just way too depressing, not sure I want to go on reading.
I’m trying hard every day to find something uplifting, to be thankful, not seeking something that will make me feel utterly horrible.
Funny how when I read it in my youth, I felt it was creepy but never felt it could happen and now it hits too close to home.
Reading is my escape, not my punishment.
So much heart is in our history that is being erased...
Who is Adam Schiff in the novel?

Thank you, NIKK.
Calling it a night to go off and read my relaxing book.
Good night, everyone.
I hear ya, Gran.
It reminds me of that (who was it, Pogo?) saying...
We have met the enemy, and the enemy is us.
Very much of a bummer.
It was a good reminder of how far we have allowed the enemy to (initially creep in) take over our lives.
I’ve been watching old black and whites on TCM and listening to Sixties on 6, on satellite.
I did download the movie (1984) but not sure how far I will get into it.
It SHOULD be required reading and viewing, by ALL HS students. But, we know that it is not. :(
:-)
