Ten of the 28 existing “national emergencies” were declared by Obama. What does “blocking property” mean anyway? Most of his are about this.

It sounds as if it means taking control of their assets as a way of exerting pressure on them to do what the US Government wants them to do.

It certainly isn't to protect America from some impending threat or looming disaster.

The leftist media tells us that the use of the emergency act in the past was to take action to protect the nation and us from things like medical emergencies, natural disasters, etc.

But there isn't one of the 28 active emergencies that deal with true threats of that nature.

And notice that Nancy Pelosi's threat/warning of a future democrat president using the Emergency Act to implement gun control is a threat to use the act AGAINST Americans, not FOR Americans.

In response to president Trump, the democrats first instinct is a threat to use the act as a tool to FORCE their agenda on Americans - not as a tool to PROTECT Americans against some emergency like an invasion or uncontrollable infectious disease.
