I think he demanded the Rs in the Senate (and maybe the House) agree to back his ‘emergency’ before he would sign it.
I think that’s what the “tell us you’ll sigb it” drama at the end was really about.
He had ‘em by the -uh- tender spot. They’d lose more if he didn’t sign than they would by backing his emergency wall.
Didn’t want the Collins. Murkowski, etcs causing him trouble.

Brian Kilmeade at the beginning of Tucker said the House is just now voting on the bill.
And I heard that he will call for the National Emergency tomorrow.
Did 17 mean that that was the time he let us know he was going to declare the NE for sure?
