BOSTON Six-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady spoke about how his wife Gisele Bundchen has used some unusual ways to keep luck on her husband's side....
"I've learned a lot from my wife over the years," Brady said while laying down in a barber's chair. "She's about the power of intention, believing that things are really going to happen."
Brady said Bundchen put together a little altar for him that he could bring with pictures of his kids....
I have these little special stones, healing stones, protection stones and she has me wear a necklace, take these drops she makes, say all these mantras," he said to a captivated audience listening to the future NFL Hall of Famer....
"I stopped questioning her a long time ago. I just shut up and listen," Brady said....
Brady finished the story recounting one last thing his wife said to him. "She said, 'You're lucky you married a witch, I'm just a good witch!'"
Just what I was thinking. Adam didn’t argue with Eve about the fruit (that we know of)...just listened and did what he was told.
I was going for a shotgun, poetic approach there rather than the whole linear arrow-of-time accuracy thing....
He sounds P-Whipped.
Yet,
Considering 70% of Brazilians are Catholic,1 it should come as no surprise that Bündchen joins them. She married her husband, football player Tom Brady, in a Catholic ceremony,2 and she said she married him because he was a good Catholic.3 She not only prays for her husbands victories on the field, but at least once sent out an email asking her friends and family to do the same.4
Shes clearly devout, but that doesnt mean shes going to do everything the Pope tells her to do. She criticized the Catholic church for being outdated in its opposition to pre-marital sex, birth control, and abortion.
Bündchen isnt terribly involved in the political debate, but she has associated herself with one cause that sounds liberal in some circles. She was named the Greenest Celebrity at the 2011 International Green awards for her environmental activism including, among other things, preventing deforestation and protecting waterways in the Amazon.6 She also started a Green Blog on her website to try to bring awareness to a broad range of environmental issues from protecting animal habitats to reducing resource consumption.7

Reminds me of a certain president!
BTW, his wife Giselle makes more money than Tom Brady. A lot more.
Heck, with this Pope, I wouldn't do anything he'd tell me to do.
It’s Tom Brady’s world, we just get to live in it.
So, paganism/witchcraft.
Sure.
Yes he does.
Funny thing is, some men seem to actively look for a Mommy Figure. Someone to manage their lives.
:)
Santaria is ‘not nothing’.
Some see this faith as Mexican Voodoo or Witchcraft.
The only thing missing in this one was some kind of controversy!
SHE'S A WITCH! BURN HER!
***I have these little special stones, healing stones, protection stones and she has me wear a necklace,***
Sounds like the contents of a Comanche Medicine Bag. About as useful as a Pet Rock.
I wrote:
“New Age mumbo-gumbo... or santa ria... it all comes from satan.”
You replied:
“Santaria is not nothing.

Where exactly did I say santria is “not nothing”?
What I did say was that it “comes from satan.”
“She criticized the Catholic church for being outdated in its opposition to pre-marital sex, birth control, and abortion.”
So, wouldn’t that make her a non-Catholic?
You’re taking offense where you don’t need to.
I was not criticizing you specifically.
I was speaking in a general sense, because the average person hasn’t heard very much about it.
I'd say no.
You shall not permit a sorceress to live." (Exodus 22:18)
Leviticus 19:31 You must not turn to mediums or spiritists; do not seek them out, or you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God.
Leviticus 20:6 Whoever turns to mediums or spiritists to prostitute himself with them, I will also set My face against that person and cut him off from his people.
Leviticus 20:27 A man or a woman who is a medium or a spiritist must surely be put to death. They shall be stoned; their blood is upon them.'"
Deuteronomy 18:10,11 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, practices divination or conjury, interprets omens, practices sorcery, casts spells, consults a medium or familiar spirit, or inquires of the dead.
“She criticized the Catholic church for being outdated in its opposition to pre-marital sex, birth control, and abortion.”
So, wouldn’t that make her a non-Catholic?
So, wouldnt that make her a non-Catholic?
Not any more than Ted Kennedy was, or Gov. Cuomo and the like whom Rome manifestly considers members in life and in death.
It is not for the laity to decide who is a heretic, but the local ordinary or all the way up to the pope, and the conditions are "subject to the conditions provided by Canon Law." (CCC 2272 ) And details are what a canon lawyer of deals with in showing how hard it can be to judge whether the Pope can be judged as Committing Heresy? ("Heresy Defined ),
And what Rome does shows how she understands canon law, and which it teaches the laity every time she provides proabortion, prohomosexual public figures with church funerals.
No worries, I was wondering if you meant to direct towards another commentor.
I know very well, that Voodoo (voo dun) and Santeria nothing to trifle with. I know some African missionaries and pastor who have come up against very powerful Shaman’s in which doctors in Africa. And only through the protection and Authority that they had in Jesus Christ kept them from harm. I have heard very many similar stories of voodoo and Santeria down in the Caribbean and its sway over unbelievers in Jesus. It all comes from that Thief who seeks to kill and Destroy.
