Blamed it on an aide.
So, that O-1 will have someone to talk to?
“You would think that at least ONE of the other Joint-Chiefs would have noticed his medals were jacked-up before sitting down for the SOTU speech.”
Maybe if they have reading glasses on, which they didn’t.
I might have told him he had the stars on the wrong shoulders, or in reverse order.
We used to catch LTs and CPTs with the “your bars are upside down” gag. Got a few, as I recall...
And Reggie "Shove" Love was behind him all the way while he was Frenching Zero's ear.
Well has he bee charged? That is certainly a violation of the UCMJ.
You often see Brits wearing their decorations on civilian suits, but rarely Americans. Is it ok to wear your ribbons on a civilian suit?
O-1s don’t typically serve as an aide. A one-star gets an O-2 and it goes up from there in rank and number of aides. At O-10, there is typically a senior aide, minimum O-4, and a junior aide, usually O-3.
No, incorrect.
Wrong judgment from both of you. It’s not certain he did it on purpose.
The way to judge this matter is to gauge whether there’s enough certainty to outweigh the value of a general’s lifelong service.
Idiot general. Tedious sergeant.
General D. Sarray?
I guess you are right. . .innocent until proven guilty. How many medals were there anyway? If several, at least one should have been upright.
It’s possible he’s slipping into dementia. Otherwise, this is an “accident” a lifetime airman who rose to general would never make under any circumstances, much less representing USAF at the SOTU. It just would not happen.
So you did "more important things" while wearing the dress uniform? I would think wearing the uniform correctly would be task number one. If you can't even get that right......
The BMT would not be surprising. There are and were plenty of senior officers who were enlisted before obtaining a commission and yes, those former enlisted do go through OTS or through a two or four year AFROTC program. A number of enlisted airmen are also selected for AF Academy appointments each year. All of the services do this.
Just curious, what medals were out of line or upside down as claimed? As a side note, this guy in the video is a bonafide jackass and nut bag..........
As a post script, I’m not going to malign any past or present military officer for the way they allegedly display their earned medals. I’ll leave that up to the leftists to do their devouring...........
All of them. His entire ribbon rack was upside down.
It's not a claim, it's a fact. The general has admitted it.
Just what the left wing piranha wants to hear.........
