Democrats Winning 90% Congressional Districts with Large Foreign-Born Populations

Mass legal immigration is driving Democrats towards full electoral dominance, with left-wing politicians winning nearly 90 percent of congressional districts with larger than average foreign-born populations, analysis finds. The Atlantic senior editor Ronald Brownstein analyzed Census Bureau statistics for the 2018 midterm elections, finding that the country’s admission of more than a million legal immigrants every year is set to hand over electoral dominance to House and Senate Democrats.

Among Brownstein’s findings is that nearly 90 percent of House congressional districts with a foreign-born population above the national average were won by Democrats. This concludes that every congressional district with a foreign-born population exceeding 14 percent had a 90 percent chance of being controlled by Democrats and only a ten percent chance of electing a Republican.

Disagree.

When you go through the process and invest so much time to become a citizen, you value it more.

I still say legal immigrants are amongst those who are most vehemently opposed to illegal immigration.

From what I recall reading, in the past we limited and adjusted legal immigrant numbers—we as a country determined who we needed to come and we “paced” ourselves so those who entered the country had the time to assimilate and participate in what was a unique National identity. Though immigrants retained their history and traditions, they considered themselves Americans.

I don’t think that is the case today nearly as often; therefore, I think we really need to REDUCE LEGAL IMMIGRATION TO A MANAGEABLE LEVEL. Manageable meaning that those who are allowed to stay here and become citizens are less concerned with being a ________-American and more concerned with what it means to become an American with no hyphenation, with truly understanding the history of this great land and more importantly with caring about the Country’s future.

Hopefully, the priority of bringing their entire family tree here so they all can “get theirs” might be reduced.

Just my thoughts—as politically incorrect as they are.

These are unfounded assertions based on wishful thinking.

“Valuing it more” is a vague term. Valuing what more? Joining some polity that was created by other peoples’ ancestors who you’re now going to pretend are your ancestors too? Or simply valuing the ability to have full and unrestricted access to economic advantages, that were previously at least partially restricted from you, which you now hope will pay a return on investment?

If legal immigrants really cared about heritage America (which, let’s face it, *has* to be what we’re talking about here, since *it* is what created “America” as it exists in the first place), they wouldn’t consistently vote in large majorities against heritage America’s interests. They wouldn’t vote as ethnic blocs in massive majorities.

Sorry, but your argument is simply based on wishful thinking and nostalgia for an immigration regimen that never *really* ever existed in the first place, but which has been positively refuted by the behaviour of immigrants themselves post-1965.

What cannot be further compromised is allowing people to become citizens without accepting & embracing the Constitutional purpose. And yet almost no one is even willing to discuss the subject. But it is the continuity of America that is at issue.

No, it just shows whether they were born in the USA or someplace else.

I imagine it includes legal immigrants and illegal aliens.

This illustrates why the President is wrong to want to increase legal immigration.

Absolutely. Money trumps patriotism.

We want nationalists and not conservatives. Sometimes they intersect but often the don’t.

Thanks for the heads-up. This should not come as any great surprise. It has long been documented that immigrants vote more than two to one Democrat. Immigrants and their US born-children drive 80% of our population growth. We have brought in over 35 million legal immigrants since 1990. They along with illegal aliens and the 300,000 children born to them annually (US citizens at birth) add to these huge numbers. 87% of legal immigrants are minorities as defined by the USG.

Today, half of the children 18 and under are minorities. Each cohort that turns 18 annually will be more minority and more Democrat than the previous one. Within a decade, the Dems will become the permanent majority party. It is why the Dems are so protective of immigrants, legal and illegal.

In contrast, non-Hispanic whites, the power base of the GOP, are declining as a percentage of the population. In 1970, they were 89% of the population; today, it is 63%, and by 2043 they will be 50% of the population.

In terms of voting preferences, there is little difference between legal immigrants and illegal aliens. They are both heavily Democrat. Mass immigration is transforming this country electorally. That’s just a fact.

Truer words were never spoken.

I’ve had a front row seat to watch this happen, here in California.

Illegal aliens are an economic hardship on California and get all the attention, but it is Mass Legal Immigration from the 3rd world that has transformed this state.

Even those who are highly successful vote to the left of us. And they organize ethnically. Historic white America is their target. Until this mass 3rd world immigration is halted America’s future is to become California. Not a joke.

California has been warning about this for decades.

No one, especially the dim bulbs of the GOP Establishment, would pay attention.

It goes against the interest of big donors who want all of the imported labor that they can get, and to hell with the culture and future of America.

And calling the GOP Establishment ‘dim’ is being kind, some of them are no better than traitors.

“Unfortunately the GOP didn’t agree with us, despite asking for our votes. What’s left but to think they are part of the agenda to collapse America?”

There is no doubt that some of them are exactly that.

This illustrates why the President is wrong to want to increase legal immigration.

Like Reagan's 1986 Amnesty, this will prove to be Trump's Great Mistake.

One that will permanently alter the nature of America, and not for the better.

There's a reason why the likes of Ocasio-Cortez and Kamala Harris are gaining political power. And mass 3rd world immigration is that reason.

What are the factors that compel immigrants to consistently vote in large majorities against heritage America’s interests? Importantly, how can these factors be altered so that they can see the obvious benefits in preserving the republic?
