No thank you, Mr. Pecker Something unusual happened to me yesterday. Actually, for me it wasnt just unusual it was a first. I was made an offer I couldnt refuse. Or at least thats what the top people at the National Enquirer thought. Im glad they thought that, because it emboldened them to put it all in writing. Rather than capitulate to extortion and blackmail, Ive decided to publish exactly what they sent me, despite the personal cost and embarrassment they threaten.

That will be interesting, given that Bezos has published the emails from AMI's lawyers explicitly laying out their offer to not publish the photos if he'll stop saying that their coverage of him is politically motivated.
This sounds like possible criminal activity. Isn’t blackmail/extortion unlawful?
That’s a very good thought, I’ll bet watching for that.
Since Bezos posted e-mails, it’s pretty serious if he faked those (not saying whether he did or didn’t). Either way, this should get interesting.
