Distressing Crap going on-article has chosen NOT to show graphic detail, but even the idea that such could happen is distressing to me-excerpt and link below:
US GOVERNMENT BACKED RESEARCH
The controversial use of body parts is being spearheaded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), which is part of the American government which is ploughing $98million (£75m) of taxpayers money into using aborted babies in the name of science.
But addressing Congress in December, NIH director Francis Collins defended the practice.
He said: There is strong evidence that scientific benefits come from fetal tissue research, [which] can be done with an ethical framework.

...use of body parts is being spearheaded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH)...
Advisor was a real feminist. Slept with the lab head. Lawsuit. Kid out of wedlock (from someone else). Creepy. I think she wanted to do the human fetal research just because she could.

TEXOKIE:
That is indeed so very disturbing, GE. I share with you the grief and sorrow you express for the misuse of innocent life.
After I read your post last night, what came to my mind was that after the major victory is finally in, we will be finding out stuff like this, perhaps for some time to come.
The analogy which entered my thoughts was the closing of the Tolkien Lord of the Rings trilogy, called the “Scouring of the Shire,” where the battle hardened heroes come home from vanquishing Sauron and the Dark Lords, only to find that their beloved Shire had been taken over by thugs and miscreants.
I suspect we will be scouring our own Shire for quite some time, unfortunately. The blessing in all this is that these things are finally being openly revealed so that the scouring can take place.
Thank you for bringing this and so many important other topics to us.
