As a retired firefighter I have to submit that allot of factors are involved in response time. Suppose the closest unit was on a call, so the second closest units( and a plane crash would call for multiple units) responded. From time of crash to time of on scene time could easily be 20 minutes.
It takes time for people to call 911 and answer questions, then dispatch units, then they run to the truck and start it and start the drive. Then traffic, including trains and other wrecks can influence the time.
Plus... a plane often crashes out of town..... so there is the time trying to find the incident. Just FYI

It was a number of years back so I dont recall how it started. Back when the average person started worrying about terrorism here in the States, 43/Iraq(?), someone started a thread, with the thrust of “What would you target in the US if you were a terrorist?” I remember commenting that the NFL practice of “security”, checking purses and banning cans, was stupid because thats not how a terrorist would want to do it, a grenade in a can or a purse sized satchel charge just wouldnt be enough. It would be “better” were I a terrorist to not attack a random game but to go after the Superbowl and talked abou how I would then attempt it. I had never read Sum and only relatively recently became aware of the plot.
Im hoping that if thrre is anything to this that its just intended to tell all of us that all of this missile treaty Trump/Putin stuff is just part of the narrative of the cover story.

How would you verify how a person actually voted despite what their claimed faith was? People lie. Data questionable. I think we’d be shocked at the truth.

Some of those factors surely affected firefighters arrival time. It’s just a good reminder for us to always be ready to fend for ourselves in the first critical minutes.

The files could probably be smaller. Images are saved to larger formats when people are using them for print purposes (higher resolution). For example, a large .JPG file can usually be saved to a lower resolution for use on the Internet. Files displayed on computer monitors can still look great at much lower resolutions than print.

I cropped a little off one side of the picture and saved it to 90% of its visual size. I chose the JPG file format near the bottom of the page and clicked the “Resize” button at the very bottom (left side) - this reduced the file format from 9MB to 1MB. Might that help? Not sure where the size limitation hits you hardest - would it be impossible to upload that file from your iPad in the first place?
I’ll put the meme I used to experiment on that website in my next post so I don’t have to add HTML throughout my comments here. :)

The image is still very large so I could reduce its visual size quite a bit more and that would reduce it's file size (probably by 50%) so that would result in a file that's under 1MB.
