What a country!
iPhones have reached the point computers reached a decade ago... older phones are still quite serviceable and most of the time there is no urgent need to replace them.
$5,000 each would really increase sales!!
Apple might pick up some business for desk tops when Microsoft dumps their customers next year
Finite demand. It’s a bitch.
And that makes me sad. You’ll never Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V properly again.
iPhones have dropped features that I liked - headphone jack, home button. See no need to move to Xr until my 7 dies.
It is interesting that after this announcement their stock price has gone up in after hours trading; maybe swordmaker can explain why?

Probably any news is better than none.

Just wait 6 months and ya can buy a rubber doorstop for a buck at the hardware store instead - same thrill, less pricey.
Market was expecting worse news. So the recent drop in Apple was based on lower expectations.
Unless Apple discontinues support of your old phone through no OS updates meaning that you can’t get the newest app and that feature eventually stops working. At $1000 plus to keep up with support gets expensive.
